Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
I think the club has taken the approach here that losing your Captain on top of Tarrant might be a PR disaster. I could only imagine if they are trying to pitch to players to join our club, this would also be a bad look.I understand the increased need to bring back Ziebell given Tarrant’s departure and I completely agree with the logic in now offering two years.
But unless there’s a team making a pitch for him I don’t see why we’d increase the offer. I doubt he’d retire out of spite or try his luck in the draft over the extra year.
A few people have made this point and while I’m not against offering Ziebell two years, I’m certainly wondering what leverage he has.
If we were to stand firm at one year do we realistically think that Ziebell would sign elsewhere?

Let's give them the full PSD treatment - Pegging with Said Dildo. So Richmond want to start a knife fight with a rubber dildo?
Good strategy.
Pick 20
JSOS just re-signed.You’d think SPS & their first would probably get it done for Cerra.
Belly will probably push for more & I hope he does… rort those salary cheats for all they have!
I personally would like to see if we can shake Silvagni from their tree…
maybe I haven’t seen enough of Carlton play, but when I do, he is the only one along with Walsh busting his gut. I like those players.
He is very versatile as well.
I’m guessing O’Brien is out the door also (another Top 10 pick ruined)

Damn! I know others say he is no good, but I rate him.JSOS just re-signed.
No way would sps and 6 do itYou’d think SPS & their first would probably get it done for Cerra.

Each to their own… I must have watched the few games he didn’t suck.Swinging for the fences there mate.

Yeah, maybe not. Pick 6 will turn into pick 8 this year & SPS wouldn’t have much value. No way would sps and 6 do it
I was an advocate for the spoon, part of this was the additional bargaining power of the PSD.
Many howled it down as having NO RELEVANCE.
I get that some wanted nothing to do with the spoon, but you were wrong to say holding pick 1 in the PSD has no be benefit to the club.
Carlton will need to source a top 15 pick to attach to 8, even that would be pretty close to a nope.Yeah, maybe not. Pick 6 will turn into pick 8 this year & SPS wouldn’t have much value.
Gonna be interesting… Belly is a hard negotiator. What do you think will get it done?
The funniest jokes have an element of truthBut 6 on its own might.
I’m telling you they will be fleshing out their list with internsDamn! I know others say he is no good, but I rate him.
He must’ve signed for peanuts.
