Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Carlton would be lucky to get 35 for sps i reckon.SPS wants to go to West Coast. I can't see him being worth a first-rounder so WC's next two picks are 29 and 35. Carlton has 25.
Does 6 & 25 get Cerra done?
It would be disappointing
Then he doesn’t get to where he wants, that’s the clubs prerogative Carlton would be under pressure to get the deal done now the contract is offeredHe is out of contract and determined to get back to Melbourne. He may be willing to risk the PSD and go to one of North or Collingwood. If he was there at pick 1 hard to think we wouldn't take him.
The deal you can get done is better than any you can't.

He's also a marketable guy with an eye on a media career, so playing the long game, being a premiership player would help a lot with future earnings. Is that worth a million bucks? I wonder how much every player would willingly sacrifice for that opportunity.

It’s different with CCJ, we have pick 1 psd so we can do nothing and get him regardlessThen he doesn’t get to where he wants, that’s the clubs prerogative Carlton would be under pressure to get the deal done now the contract is offered
it might take future pick trades, I don’t know. They might have to jettison some players, it’s on themThey've only got what they have got to trade. The best they could put together is if, for example, they get pick 35 for SPS and then bundle up 25 and 35 for a late first-round pick (Bulldogs pick 17 or 18).
Would 6 and 18 get it done for the Dockers?
Would the Blues be willing to give up their first two picks plus an established player for Cera?
Can't see Melbourne getting it done at all.
Very generous6 & 25 & 29 getting close
Though 29 for SPS is generous.
6 and 18 is getting closer, depends on established player, maybe package that up with the second to another clubThey've only got what they have got to trade. If Cerra chooses the blues he will get there.
We want him to choose Melbourne.
They say clubs don't like to sour relationships, but we really hold the whip hand here. A trade of Robbie for CCJ straight up as saves them losing FA compo.
We don't need to add any more sugar than that or take it to the PSD. If they decide not to take that deal, no worries for us PSD it is.
We're actually doing them a favour by agreeing to trade rather than let Robbie walk via FA. Is it fair overall? Probably not, but none of the club's are in the business of fairness.
On SM-G965F using BigFooty.com mobile app
they have no draft capitol. What's the upside for us?
As a standalone deal I think 38 for CCJ is fair, however I'm happy to sweeten it a touch to get it done early and free up the threat of the PSD for another target (assuming we have more than CCJ).
Richmond benefits from Tarrant being a trade as opposed to being a FA signing given they will get compo for Chol. We arguably lose FA compo on Tarrant (not sure if the contract would trigger anything).
What would make it interesting is if both clubs knew what Tarrant's FA compo would be (if anything) prior to anything being lodged. If it was nothing ala Waite then theoretically him signing as a free agent suits both clubs.
You have facts do you? Well share them or stfu. That’s a lot of guessing
LOL you are the one making baseless assumptions that Jack won’t hand over the captaincy…You have facts do you? Well share them or stfu.
Noooooo, there is nothing to indicate he wouldn’t step down from the captaincy so don’t spread bullshitYou have facts do you? Well share them or stfu.
Yeah all those posters high and mighty with ...I don't want to finish last....psd means nothing .....are now exactly the same posters with the chest out ...use the PSD Brady - let's stick it up Richmond.I was an advocate for the spoon, part of this was the additional bargaining power of the PSD.
Many howled it down as having NO RELEVANCE.
I get that some wanted nothing to do with the spoon, but you were wrong to say holding pick 1 in the PSD has no be benefit to the club.
Double negatives to make a point - you are guessing like everyone else so stop spreading bullshit yourself.Noooooo, there is nothing to indicate he wouldn’t step down from the captaincy so don’t spread bullshit
Ok big man what proof do you have that he would not give the captaincy up if asked.Double negatives to make a point - you are guessing like everyone else so stop spreading bullshit yourself.

Chance at a Premiership or an extra Million bucks on top of the couple of Mil you are already getting? Is that worth a million bucks? I wonder how much every player would willingly sacrifice for that opportunity.

I know what I'd pick. (If you couldn't leverage a GF win into another several million over a lifetime there is something wrong.)
