Rank the ruck targets

For me:

1) Fort, our primary need is a back up target but as shown in the VFL this year he can play forward. Could displace Fullarton as our KF/R
2) Casboult, A genuinely superb contested marking forward, however clearly on his last legs. Not so bad though. We ideally only need 10-15 games before he's displaced, 1 year on the list could be all we need
3) Cox, I haven't seen many games as dominant as that Tigers final. He was unbelievable, though it's obviously been proven to be an outlier rather than the breakout game everyone expected at the time. He's an okay ruck due to height and an above average forward. We'll also have to bring him in for a minimum of two years without any promise of a senior spot. Not worth it with our list and needs imo.

Fremantle bending Suns over once again. How on earth is this even remotely fair?

Suns are building future picks up nicely so we can trade with them next year for points. Future 2nd/3rd/4th from Collingwood picks and future 2nd and 4th from Fremantle. Good job Suns ! We'll be in touch next year !

Brodie + 19 for 61 + 69 and a future 2nd + 4th round?

Suns are a joke of a football club to be honest.

Can't manage a salary cap so have to gift their priority pick to Fremantle.

Fort isn’t a KF he’s a ruck only so would be on the bench while Big O is in the ruck

Cox brings forward craft and Ruck work Rendell continues to push him towards Us as a main ruckman that can work well with Oscar
Casboult looks done bad knee injury according to Blues supporters

Looking at his stats, he's taken 8 marks twice and 5 marks twice as well.

Player profile does say he kicked 3 in AFL debut and scored 23 goals in 13 games - highest being 6 against Port Melbourne.

Looks like he's no mug as a forward. We could park him in the forward line and keep switching with Big O.

anyone hearing chatter about Battle from the saints link to us ?
Haven’t heard it myself but would be a really interesting get if it were possible, definitely has the talent and versatility that would suit us.

They're in the same spiral we were in where they have to overpay to keep players and when someone nominates to come home ala Wheller they have to pay an extraordinary price that no other club in an equivalent position would pay.

Not sure how we could afford him but Battle would go ahead of a few of our half backs for me. Assuming 4 small/hybrid defenders I’d be going with Rich, Starce, Coleman and Battle. This move could potentially help a Starce to the mids as well.

Where would he play - 3rd forward tall/ruck?
I few him similar to Ah Chee, could play on either flank and on the wing however he’s a bit bigger and was put into key positions for St Kilda at times. I always thought he was a pretty good player with a mix of good skills on both sides, a nice mark and a good mover for his size but he seemed to be on the outer at the Saints.

He mentioned Coleman pacifically as Birchall replacement on B&F night after Birchall’s retirement speech
Yeah, there's a difference between a promise and encouraging a young player to grab an opportunity.

View him as a utility. He can play Key position either end and has played on the wing as well.
Remember him in his draft year at TAC Cup level. Nice type of player who I think hasn't yet reached his potential. But what dosh would he be on?
