Jhye Clark also looks good. Pretty much all the scenarios result in a good outcome.

Only thing with Clark is I don't want him to do a Bruhn and run home to Geelong first chance he gets

Not sure where you got that from, he's exactly the same height and weight as Mills was in his draft year.

I think Mills is actually a very good comparison, especially the way he moves his way through traffic

Ok fine simmilar weight and height. I’ve seen him play in enough games. As I’ve said I think Mundy is a better comp cross with Anderson. I think the way in which Cam breaks through tackles and delivers kicks reminds me more of Mundy then Mills. I don’t think mills has that ability.

Most were crying that that we had taken Paddy over Trac.

The only one calling Trac a flag was Trout.

Feels like Wardlaw is the mystery man in this draft. Everyone has accepted the fact that he's going to North with pick 3 or 4, and he hasn't got anywhere near the media attention of the other mids in the draft. Is he really that much better than the other options to be such a certain lock?

Similar intensity around the ball as Matt Rowell.

But has breakaway 5/10m speed splits similar to LDU and can jump on players heads - measuring the same vertical as Nic Nat/Mac Andrew in NAB league preseason testing.

He’s been considered the #1 of this age group since u15’s. Been injured for 80% of the year and still likely to go top 3 should tell you plenty.

I think Phillipou with his athletic profile has claims.

I’m pretty certain it won’t be Ashcroft at the next level.

Wardlaw is hard to go past if he gets AFL fit. I mean, someone described as having a playing style like Oliver/Rowell but with LDU’s speed and a Fyfe like vertical is a ridiculous package.

A inside mid that can genuinely break from congestion and probably has the best defensive side of any mid in the draft, he hunts opposition mids out of stoppage with his burst speed and physicality.

If he was 3 inches taller I think you would be talking about one of the better midfield prospects ever.

Ashcroft really only got shown up twice this season and it was in 2 of the 5 games Wardlaw played in this year.

I just don't know how we don't end up with Clark in those scenarios. We're either needing to hope Geelong go local or reach for Busslinger, etc. but I'm not holding my breath on either.

Really like burgiel as a player. Love his run and carry with neat ball use. He sort of reminds me of cam Guthrie.

His uncle Adrian is one of the best country sports people I've ever seen in both cricket and football. Absolute star
