I agree. It feels like Sam Mitchell is showing up at the eleventh hour to disregard is entire recruitment team and the work they have put in all year to tell them to select MacKenzie because Cmac reminds Sam of a taller, faster version of himself based on the 2 minute YouTube highlight clip he has seen.CMac strikes me as exactly the kinda player Sam Mitchell would love…

Yep, Trout basically said that Petracca was a flog too full of himself.
How did that go for us?
While Petracca has admitted himself that he was very immature and so-on when he was first drafted, I actually preferred the confidence he showed when interviewed pre-draft over Paddy’s more humble type style.Nar different kind of flog. There’s levels.
Like 99% of supporters I wanted Trac & overlooked the flogishness.
Pou looks more like a sookish type that will run when times get tough IMO.
Do not wantVery interesting to see someone say that Tsatas has the lowest contested possession ratio of any top 10 pick in the last decade, or something along those lines.
That’s a decent sized red flag right there.
Those who average under 30% contested possessions have an extremely high bust-rate, relatively speaking.
Someone also showed figures which made Jarad Polec (prior to his draft) look like a tackling machine in comparison with Tsatas. Exceptionally low tackle numbers for Tsatas.
Will be really interesting to see how high he goes, or how far he slides.
With us having spent our first on someone who plays very outside last year, it’s not necessarily going to be ideal to spend another first on someone who doesn’t win much of his own ball, or tackle, if he makes it through to us.

The kiYup agree.
If Pou & Ginbey go to the Bombers & GC it really opens things up for us.
Saw Pou interview. Flog. And not in a cool Dane Swan flog kind of way. Do not want.
that would be great get..De Goey 2.0 without the price tag!!Wouldn’t be disappointed if Humphrey got through to pick 10
In the NAB league he averaged 20 disposals, 2 goals, 5 tackles & 6 marks. I reckon there’s a slight chance he gets to our pick. Need Pou & Ginbey to go to Ess & Suns & then Hawks, Cats & Eagles take Clark, Mckenzie & Tsatas in whatever order. The ki

Van Es looks a real prospect..197cm and 99 kg, good one on one, definitely a need!Saints take Elijah Hewett or Cam MacKenzie, Phillipou if he slides out.
Then they can pick up Ethan Phillips or James Van Es, later in the draft, as the KPD.
Yeah , its so hard to scroll down a bit , I'm guessing that was a piss take by youGetting to the pointy end of the draft George and this thread will start to take off in the coming days. I’m wondering if it’s time to unpin lore’s post so we dont have to scroll past it so often.
Yes mateMowman are you able to work your magic on this? Stevie J: How clubs prepare for AFL draft
I hope he is still there by the time our third pick comes alongVan Es looks a real prospect..197cm and 99 kg, good one on one, definitely a need!
Even Busslinger?Jhye Clark also looks good. Pretty much all the scenarios result in a good outcome.
Even Busslinger?
I am afraid the Saints won't pick a mid.
The good mids push out to about 12 or 13. Still got Holland and Hewitt at 11 and 12Yeah I'd prefer Busslinger than scraping the bottom of the barrel of the mids if all the to tier is gone.
Don't mind Hewett and Hottom but I see them both as a decent drop off from CMac, Clarke, Pou etc
Mentioned Hewett in my post. The good mids push out to about 12 or 13. Still got Holland and Hewitt at 11 and 12
Wouldn't mind us looking to get #14 if someone around the 8-12 mark slides.
Yeah , he has nice skills and some pace and has a touch of campaigner about him too which doesn't hurtReally like burgiel as a player. Love his run and carry with neat ball use. He sort of reminds me of cam Guthrie.
