Bailey Dale seems like the player we would chase
See my post above = FlorentI’m keen; Seedsman seems done, massive question marks over Milera getting back to his best. Some more speed and quality ball use would be nice.
But - not sure we should be sinking more into a defender. If Dale can be a winger, yes.
Billy has us all fooled..none of us rated him much of a player until his shift to defence late last year looked like it might eork and as a newby there he has made some real improvement to his game. It seems he was just a defender in ruck / forwards clothes all along

He’s VictorianSure, but Dale is a South Australian free agent.
Think you’re thinking of Caleb DanielSure, but Dale is a South Australian free agent.
He’s Victorian
Are you thinking of Bailey Williams , ex bay boy ?That throws a spanner in the works, I always thought he was South Australian and thought he would definitely be the one we are chasing. He has put off contract talks too I believe
I really, REALLY like Dale, and think getting a zone breaking player is important (especially with Smith closer to retirement), but I also wouldn’t mind saving the cash for a more vital position, and investing time into developing a Parnell-type. No I always thought Dale was an SA kid, anyway I hope we are into him as he is a great kick and has some speed
Playing decent footy in NEAFL, standard big body kid who develops fast and maybe plateausIs he any good?
Find this a bit strange. Billy was traded in at the same time Nicks’ was appointed.
You obviously haven't watched any VFL footy this season, Gould is lean and trim now, not too much "puppy fat" now....Playing decent footy in NEAFL, standard big body kid who develops fast and maybe plateaus
Like the “superstar “ Lachie Jones
Local lad who played in Glenelg flag , get him under Burgess trim some of that puppy fat down and we could have a weapon
Too many Jack Daniels and Bailey's for me to keep up.Me too. And I wasn’t confusing Dale with Caleb Daniel or Bailey Williams. Wtf.

Another that’ll cost peanuts from Swans - Will Gould
Is he any good?
It depends if we think using said cash on a HBF is smart or not. At least it wouldn’t cost us draft capitalParnell unproven at the moment but looks decent. Dale is an all Australian and a free agent. We also have cash to use
The cross - over time period would be pretty close. We would have done plenty of grunt work to get him before appointing Nicks. I wonder by that time he had verbally agreed to come and it was too late to back even if Nicks didn’t want.
