When a player is in my team I will support them and be as optimistic as I can....until reality sets in.
It doesn't change the concerns that were there before the draft, or what we see now.
I appreciate the time and effort it took to find those posts though. Wish I had those skills

Hopper is a yes, Taranto is a pass at the money he'd command. Obviously the uncontacted player Taranto is much easier to dislodge unless they rate him above Hopper but he's a Victorian so it's highly unlikely he goes anywhere else. Hopper is a home grown GWS Academy player but did spend 2 year's here on Ballarat playing for St.Pats and the Ballarat Rebels whilst schooling here.

That's because once you are a playing for a Victorian team, you are instantly a much better player.

What's their worth, around pick 10-15??? So we can offer them less since as we have the threat of the PSD.
I don't want either. Our rebuild needs to be ground up after watching this year. We aren't close to being in a position of topping up.
Taranto - pick 8-12
Hopper - pick 10-15
We still need to bring in quality in the 24-25 years old range like Dawson to surround the youngster who are developing very well in the SANFL especially if they come cheap in term of trade like Dawson did.

Probably but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.
I'd rather Hopper TBH, would love him at the Crows.
We also need to get the elite talent we need onto the list to compete and be a top 4 side.
I would have Hopper, but not at the expense of a top 5 pick, JHF, or 2023 first at this stage.
I'd prefer Hopper out of the two, but wouldn't care if we stayed away from either
