What I'm suggesting is that we almost certainly won't be making 3 selections at the ND - a maximum of 2 is highly likely, and only 1 is a strong possibility.
Liam Stocker anyone, 184 midfielder on rookie list?
He's someone that needs a Burgess - there's some football skills there, but he's just not in the physical shape needed to be a professional footballer. Not a midfielder: can’t run or keep up. Too slow for his average skills also

YesIs he contracted?
The logic of all the Trade Pick discussions are simply mind boggling !!!IF there is no VIC media bias
THEN why does GWS have a walkout problem and can’t play hardball with
Bruhn > Geelong
and cop
Taranto and Hopper > Richmond
But Crows just have to pony up with GC for Rankine ?

I think Murray could play Ruck and up forward but the problem is that we lack KPD's down back. Our best small forward options are McAdam, Rankine, Pedlar and Rachele. McAdam is more your medium type but can play small as well. Hopefully Pedlar can get 15 games out of his body. That game tonight looked like the future is small fast forward lines, and very mobile rucks who can kick and mark. Looks like Murray will be training with the rucks to me and working on his pass kicking and fitness.
i suspect port know this and why they were tring out finlayson this year and both teams passed on grundy.
we have the smalls but they're not that fast so rankine will be important.
thoughts?

The crows won't pony up for Rankine. A deal will get done around pick 13-18 as long as we can sort out the trade with another club. Bruhn hasn't really shown much so I don't think gws will get much more than around pick 20-25. Taranto is worth around pick 10-12 and Hopper likewise.IF there is no VIC media bias

'things change'IF...
You categorically say pick 5 will need to be used in some form and it isn't...
THEN...
Something has to change and you should get your head around an apology because you were wrong. Can see this person dragging this right out, though.
Maybe Berry or Bailey not sure but a centre bounce of Dunkley, Neale & McCluggage someone has to drop down the orderSuch as? Who do you have in mind?
yes it might need to be explored because ROB is a liability and they seem reluctant to give strachan enough of a go to seeI think Murray could play Ruck and up forward but the problem is that we lack KPD's down back. Adelaide great names the “best two prospects” on Crows list
The former coach has identified two players in particular.www.sen.com.au
Agree with Blighty but I think he missed a 3rd player in Nankervis.Adelaide great names the “best two prospects” on Crows list

Still very raw..but has a bit of x factor no doubt about itAgree with Blighty but I think he missed a 3rd player in Nankervis.

The next step in Murray's development is to find ways to impact the game more from an offensive standpoint. His defensive work is already very good, now it's a matter of finding the ball more in defence and using it to his advantageI think the Fogarty rule should be in place for Murray. I.e. leave him in one position and let him develop his game.
Especially as there is a serious KPD in him, once he finds a bit more intercepting power.
I do like your thinking. It's what rebuilding teams should do - target the young talent at the top teams who can't get the game time they want.Maybe Berry or Bailey not sure but a centre bounce of Dunkley, Neale & McCluggage someone has to drop down the order
Blighty did talk about Nankervis .....said, he likes himAgree with Blighty but I think he missed a 3rd player in Nankervis.
What did he say about McAseyBlighty did talk about Nankervis .....said, he likes him
He was speechless .....which says a lot, the glow in Blighty's cheeks was an obvious show of warmth & affectionWhat did he say about McAsey![]()

spudeven someone like Rhy Mathieson at 25 years old could add something to our list.
