How was that a direct turnover? It's not a blatant error. It took a block for Adams to take the mark.
Most of the time it doesn't count as a clanger if you kick it long to a contest.

Intercept marks are only a negative if the kick is directly to an opponent. That wasn't, hence why they took the clanger off him and gave him +3.
At the game and some guy dressed as security just took his shirt off and ran around on the ground. Genuinely stepped every security trying to stop hip. Best pitch invader moves I've seen.
