We shouldn't take Grundy off the Pies books, for them. That just helps them get their list in order. What do you reckon we should offer for Gunston? I might be able to have a word to my people and get a trade done if you come up with a decent suggestion
IN. THE. KNOW.
That's just wanting the Pies to lose more than you want the Dees to improve with a ready made ruck, don't let your hatred cloud your logic. We shouldn't take Grundy off the Pies books, for them. That just helps them get their list in order.
Leave them high and dry I say, with Grundy's salary black-hole.
I'd rather McStay, to replace TMc, as our leadup half forward, while JvR still grows.
We can use Maxy more and more as deep forward. As he ages.

Appreciate the perspective warping here. Nice attention to detail. So Gawn mentioned the recruiter's had about 70 names on the board for potential trade ins. It looked like this.

No; but we should pencil in Cameron Rayner... RFA at the end of 2025.Couldn't even get close to affording him
I don't think Salem is going anywhere from us. He'll be grey first.I could see Salem being a bit of a Bernie Vince for a club like North. Flaky but plenty of talent and needs a kick up the arse to do something with the second half of his career.
Loyalty is our theme at Melbourne. What was it Clarkson, Viney, Yze, Bruce and even Neitz maybe?
No, not at all. That's just wanting the Pies to lose more than you want the Dees to improve with a ready made ruck, don't let your hatred cloud your logic.
Unless you can personally somehow organise us a few realistic key forward options he may be the best choice for us at the moment.
I don't hate any sides at all, these days.don't let your hatred cloud your logic.
I actually think trading Salem makes a lot of sense, but I don't see it happening because clubs are wary of pushing out contracted players. He still has four years to run on a deal and is best mates with Trac and Oliver, he isn't going to want to leave and it'll get real messy if we try and force him out.
TrueIf he goes to Geelong he'll never get injured again and turn into the best ruck in the league.
I think if we miss out on the GF this year there may be a few retirements as well. One consideration with recruiting new players is how many list spots we have available. There aren't too many obvious candidates for delisting from the senior squad this year except for Baker and Rosman, meaning if Jackson goes we'll likely only have three list spots available (currently we only have picks 35, 41 and 53, but we can expect at least one more high pick for Jackson this year). That means if we want to trade for someone, we'll probably need to trade someone out to make room for them.
I haven't been there in years. We would always stop in there for some food as a kid on the way home. Is it any good these days?True, the corio bay roadhouse is probably the finest roadhouse ive ever been to. Their Sav's in batter use proper Don hotdogs, none of the nonsense hotdogs you from the deli at Wooly's or Coles

24 games in seven years on the list. The great survivor lol.MELBOURNE defender Joel Smith is closing in on a new deal with the Demons.
The out-of-contract backman was unlucky to miss out on last year's premiership win for the Demons but is on track for what will likely be a two-year contract extension.
It would take Smith through to the end of 2024 at the Demons, with clubs around the competition securing their key defenders with a shortage in the League.
