tried to be humorous, wasn't. You've killed your own logic. You just said anyone is an idiot for thinking we would get a top 10 pick for Jackson. I pointed out Tim Lamb. You denied that. Incorrectly. So Tim Lamb comes out and says that 'there's first rounders and there's first rounders' and had asked Freo for a top 7 pick. You don't ask for that if you don't think there's a chance. If there was no leverage, he would've accepted the deal in the first 10 minutes of trade week. I look forward to your apology for such a big oversight.

You're talking about depth, if we lose Weideman and we have lost Brown daw and Bedford, that isn't a premiership winning forward line, that's depth and replacing those players via psd, dfa ect is exactly how you can replace those players.

I think that the Draft system needs fixing with regards to contract lengths.

1st rounders need to sign a 4-year contract initially
2nd rounders sign a 3-y-c
3rd rounders sign a 2-y-c
4th and lower 1 year contracts

That way we don't have a JHF/Dog situation where they want to abandon the team.

We have sweet FA and done little to improve our list while losing a truck load of depth.

Those saying we are going to pick up premium players to turn our forward line around and fill these holes from the left over scraps in pre season draft and rookie draft are kidding themselves.

Absolutely cooked off season and we can’t expect much improvement on 2022 with our ins and outs.
