Re Baker , to me his issues are decision making , or his inability to make the right decision. The club also have had enough and delisted him . It doesn't matter if a player has skill if he has no idea when to execute , wish him well but cya .

Is being a contrarian a bad thing? When we were at 10-0 and I was calling the team out for playing trash football, half of the board were saying 'you've got to enjoy the wins etc.'. 'Don't worry, we're playing in 2nd gear by design, we'll go bang when we need to'. I had the contrarian view, and the contrarian view turned out to be correct.

I was also the strongest on getting Ben Brown out of the team from about round 5 onwards. Also a contrarian view. Most of you guys just took 5 months longer to see what I saw.

I'm pretty strong that Grundy won't work. I'm not the only one to hold this view. Many hold this view.

You may not like my delivery but many of my 'contrarian' views are basically the views of many, just many months ahead of them.

The fact that Topkent says that he doesn't respect my opinion tells me that he refuses to accept that I've been ahead of the curve on a lot of stuff this year.

I generally go to Round 11, 2022 of our club forum, where I was getting slammed for being overly negative despite being 10-0. Each response from the '2nd gearers' was just constant validation that will carry well into next season.

From my recollection many people on here said we weren’t playing well at 10-0.

A more appropriate use of the phrase “barely anyone” would be: “barely anyone on here put a large bet on us missing the 8”
