They asked him to tell some stories about drafting and trading. He started telling a story about drafting a kid out of Sunbury, then forgot who he was talking about, what draft pick he was taken with, and kept referring to the actual draftee's brother. His brain is pudding
Rendell and Buckenara were fantastic players, in particular Buckenara, but they should have left their opinions where they hung their boots. Buckenara's coaching tenure at Sydney should have been more than example. "Good players, dickhead people".

Gonna start using ‘generational talent’ more often when describing people.
Don’t miss out. There are only three or four per year, based in the draft/mid season draft/trade period and the missed generational talent that emerges.

In fact we should give them a list of names and ask them to talk to them about a trade and then turn around and say…….. changed our mind.

Let them piss off a few players and cause some unrest.

Yep, that’s what I saw too, the going rate for pick 7 is $750k
I wonder what an injury prone player on a million is worth.
My sell to him would be get a nice payday for two years and a coaching apprenticeship under Clarkson afterwards.
And we’ll take pick 3 for the privilege than

3 & Toby Greene for 1. We take on the rest of his contract

Brisbane's best pick was 15 and they cashed it in for some s**t picks.

Indeed Dogs wanted Brions first this and next years as well.
Brions said nah and proceeded to trade out pick 15 to gather points to cover bids on Ashcroft and what’s his face.
Bevo got pissed (well their recruiting team did) and said we will walk him to the PSD if you don’t find a first and first!!

Finally, Bevos whiny, hard done by approach to everything may be of benefit

I’d completely erased from my memory that Buckenara coached Sydney.

Cadman could be a generational forward.

Has had one of most productive top age seasons from memory.

Has elite work rate & forward craft and doesn’t rely on purely being bigger and stronger than his opponents. Something that separates him from those failed Key Fowards taken at the top end previously.
David King on Fox Footy now. North MUST take Cadman. CHFs dont grow on trees. Kingy, you are 100 per cent correct. Dont trade pick 1 because GWS want Cadman.
