Most of us are in agreement that a future 2nd should be enough to net us both logue and tucker.
Anything earlier than that we be met with anger on my behalf.

We already have Goldy, X, CCj and Edwards as rucks on the list.
With list sizes so small at the moment any more would be over capitalizing.
Meek is a decent player but he really would not be that much of an upgrade.

That would leave us with Goldy, Xerri, CCJ, Meek and Edwards " while he is still a few years away" as our future rucks. Would be 1 to many atm...

Even if we don't play all of them throughout the season it creates much needed draft capital- something that we've been desperately looking for.

We could do a lot worse; especially with us potentially getting 1-2 more rookie list spots.

Fair enough I get your point.
I just reckon 4 is too many already.
Rucks like Meek can be picked up every off season for third round picks.
Like every year.
Not all clubs do development rucks like we do.
We have 3 currently.
If we could trade out X and bring in Meek I would be all for it.

Every year we have 5-6 really elite rucks who win the taps pretty much every week. (Gawn, Nicnat, Grundy etc)
Below that group you have guys like Nank, Hickey, Stanley, Omac etc. who win the taps say 60% of the games they play.
You pay 800k+ for the top group.
You pay 400k+ for the second group and your really only losing the taps a couple of games a year more.
Just build a midfield that sharks taps well and the ruck is even less valuable.
4 on the list is already over kill.

This is way overs. Massive.

19 is the equivalent of a R1 pick. It’s incredibly valuable in the right hands.

Our 2023 R2, sure… at least there is a chance it’ll be 23 or 25 or something, but 19, should we get it, I’d be holding on to it for dear life.

It’s more valuable than a late first rounder. It’s the first pick on the second draft night, which imo gives it more value than pick 16-18.
