What’s the worst case scenario for him?

A. Comes to North and plays under a different coach
B. Stays at St Kilda, Clarko coaches, and he watches from afar regretfully

The Hunter Clarke situation wouldn’t be as fluid as some fans on here are making it out to be. He’s had time to process the Clarko information with his manager by now, they would have run through the scenarios if Clarko was that important to his decision.

I dare say North have been notified about whether he’s willing to come or not and if he is it’s all dependant on what we can offer them. Now based on James Gallagher answer on trade radio I’d say he’s still happy to come to North, we just have to give them what they want.
Fair point re fluidity.

One player who hasn't been mentioned is Lester from the Lions. He had a very good year last year, much better than Gardner who has been resigned. He only played a few games this year but played well in all of them.

Would be a competent defender for us and is very highly thought of as an utter professional at the Lions. Zorko's brother in law.

Would come very cheap (fourth round?) but probably will not leave Brisbane.

North need people like this at the club.

finally showing interest in bowes deal, get it done brady and clarko

NORTH IN BOWES MIX

NORTH Melbourne is another club showing its interest in Gold Coast midfielder Jack Bowes and the Suns' pick No.7 combo.

The Roos have the salary cap space to accommodate Bowes' remaining two years of his back-ended deal with the Suns and are understood to be among the clubs keen to pursue the 24-year-old.

The 83-gamer will meet with a number of clubs in the coming days as he makes a call on where he wants to play, with Geelong, Essendon, Hawthorn and Brisbane also showing their interest in him. St Kilda, too, has looked at Bowes.

I wonder if it all has made Hunter stay and we have redirected to Bowes?

Go to Geelong, won't get a game. Go to Tullamarine, enough said. Go to Hawthorn, too handsome to wear that jumper, go to Brisbane and get shipped around, once the Gabba gets redeveloped..... orrrrrrr come to North and wear the best jumper, with guaranteed game time, and the greatest coach (he'll be there).

Well we have the future picks the Suns would be after for their academy lads next year. Interesting.

Never thought I’d be saying this, but I really want us to get Jack Bowes now ☺️
