If this type of deal goes through, Brady Rawlings has potentially been the worst ever appointment at the North Melbourne Football Club.

So everyone else eats a s**t sandwich so Port get JHF for the same as what was already knocked back plus they get Rioli as a sweetener? LOL

Who is feeding this s**t, the Puffers?
I think in the latest scenario they are also getting Ratugolea from the cats as well, with still nothing else being added by them!

The Kangaroos are still weighing up whether receiving pick No.2 for Horne-Francis in a multi-club deal with West Coast and Port Adelaide is adequate for last year’s No.1 pick but have not been forced to make that decision as the Eagles remain adamant they want a player in any deal that sees Junior Rioli get to Port Adelaide.

If the Kangaroos do land the first two picks in this year’s national draft, they may consider splitting one of the picks with the Giants, who have picks 3, 12, 15, 18 and 19. However, pick swaps can occur between the end of trade period and the week of the national draft.

We are not landing the first two picks ffs! 🤬

Can someone please kidnap Brady Rawlings and hide him until next Wednesday after the Trade period has closed.

He single handedly could put this club into a black hole for the next 5-10 years.

Quality over quantity.

Reid is better prospect in my book than any of this years crop.

Reid 201cm when he was 16, might grow a bit more, good below his knees. There are about 5 really good forwards at this stage, Moir can easily kick 50+ on either foot.

I am not sure how Cadman stacks up against them but... there is no guarantee a future pick lands in that zone next year anyway.

What I have been really impressed with re Ports is them trialling some of their material before the next Comedy festival. So we knock them back what ,say 4 or 5 times and yet they are digging their heals in , do they think we are going to change our mind ? Are they the dumbest people in the universe , pay up , tick tock.

This is just North giving things away for free so everyone else can get what they want. It doesn't need to be some stupid six way trade (to state the obvious), Port just need to give up a bit more to get JHF, then we do a deal with GWS afterwards if we want.

I know we likely aren't stupid enough to do it, but I'm always a little terrified we will when I read these.

As Kingy and others have said, these two deals have the potential to set us up for years

They also have the potential to keep us in the doldrums for the next 5.
We dont have a shortage of high draft picks in our squad, we have a shortage of AA quality.

Id much prefer we take quality, keep pick 1 and JHF and see what a year under Clarko brings.

Lets see how players such as Bonar, Polec, Young, Powell, Phillips, Curtis, Comben, Taylor, Lazzaro, Goater, Bergman, Thomas, Stevo, Archer, Ford, Perez, Dawson and Spicer respond under him. We'll be much clearer in 12 months time. Taking a plethora of picks risks getting more of the same types where we can get/ keep exactly what we need.

If we are just going to take Wardlaw why would GWS give us anything?

They want Cadman because it’s the only way to secure him and he’s about to test in the next 3 days at the combine.

West Coast I would assume would take Cadman if they keep pick 2. With Kennedy retiring their key forward stocks are worse than ours.

I reckon we should save the melts for after the deal gets done

May as well get 8 f1st and Bonar . If Rawlings goes through with that the club CGAGF.

Way i read it
Out : JHF, pick 1
IN : 2 & 3, Port F1

1 vs 2 basically net zero

So its JHF for 3 and port F1

Which is what brady said all along. Two firsts one being a top 5.

Clearly list managers prepared to forego cadman for two bites of wardlaw, tsatas, sheezel.
