TH is an intercept defender who gets high numbers. DG is a proper KPD who plays on talls.

Gardiner is a different player to Highmore but much more competitive, tough and has good defensive craft. Would be perfect for our team.

Being restrict FA def worth a look if he doesn’t cost us picks. If Joyce was delisted without an obvious replacement the club must be a bit more down the track with him than we know. Get it done

Billing’s always looks like he is reacting to the game and fazed by what is happening around him. Which is frustrating because he has some good qualities as a afl footballer but the reason mentioned above I think stops him from taking the game on.

I remember early on he played games in which he took control like the bulldog game where we came back from 50 points. Other moments that come to mind are against McVeigh and Burgoyne were he only had eyes for the ball, got the ball, took the contact and moved the opposition player off the ball. Moved forward and delivered it to one of our forwards.

Is it the way he has been played? The way he was coached early on in his career? Or is it just simply his mind set?

Does it matter anymore? How many chances are we going to give this bloke? He's had 10 f*cking years on our list. He has never been more than a guy unable to reach his full potential. He is an "almost" player that gets away with it because we stupidly "hope" that he'll be more.

Good point, I wonder if Lenny could inspire Billing’s to develop that mindset. I think we forget that we don’t have a Hawkins, Selwood, Kennedy, Fyfe, Cotchin ect who have been at the club since being drafted passing on the culture that they developed in.

After we retired our older generation of players. It was pretty much left with gears. All our older players were traded in like Brown, Ryder ect. While I am sure they loved the club. All their heart and soul wasn’t St Kilda.

I know this has been said before, but will reiterate
There are no real ITK's, just people who may know one or two at the club, that may tell them what they think
Others my have friends or golfing buddies, or running partners who have contacts.

What most do is relay what they know to be fact at the time. Lots of stuff would be told in confidence and not put out publicly

It keeps the forum alive for discussion, after all the time they have been bagged for info, I don't, think they are looking for kudo's.
Anyway carry on. Most whispers never come to fruition.
I am still waiting on Kelly and Heeney to arrive.

I know it was reported, but a little more info i received on the weekend regarding Brad Hill..

Very Loose guy in regards to socially, rocks up late to meetings, extremely moody and him leaving is player driven not him, more players a fed up with him.

Probably another reason the board wanted to take a closer look at the De Goey situation. Hill Is out 100% looks like 40c-60c on the dollar will be the likely outcome not the 80c-90c as we were probably hoping for.
