That was a long time ago. Calm down.I still get chills on the odd occasion I pass Easey St.
We are talking about trade week thoughNorth? hahaha, maybe last week they were looking OK and that's if you completely ignore the fact they have two less assistant coaches to fit Clarkson in. Fast forward to now and they're three coaches down.

Well doneLike everyone in here, just had enough of the lack of info been detailed by the club and decided to do something about it .I think Nicks reaction to the no go for the Bowes trade tipped me over the edge .
I rang the club and asked about all the questions we need answers on. Here we go.
Bowes deal involves 2 million of salary cap,of which we are not prepared to pay as we have young mids in need of a pay rise.
It was reported 850k is owed to him from past contracts not paid.
‘Hunter Clarke has not requested a trade and we have not had any such conversation with him .
The lack of communication about players is nothing to see here and we do not comment on speculation through the media.
The much awaited report was tried to spin a positive but I said it’s too late.It should have been completed 2 weeks ago.
Anyway at least he took my call and in summary i believe we are sitting on our hands until the report is completed.
I will NOT calm down

The trainee receptionistWho is “he”?
As in he took your call.
Thought that was a “she”….but I’d better tread carefully here in this day and age.The trainee receptionist
Or they trade for McStay and take the compo.

We are talking about trade week though
The Clarkson debacle is a different story
I hope so and I hope you're rightGold Coast can't be that stupid to give away Bowes and pick 7 for very little, more than likely they will wat Geelongs future first and future second for pick 7. It's a little to much for pick 7 as next years draft is meant to filled with very good talent. The narrative is all Geelongs way because Bowes hasn't nominated a club yet but hopefully the AFL don't sign off on a lopsided trade.

3 mids mentioned ,Windy,Owens and NassiahWhich young mids are in need of a pay rise?
Owens and Windy have signed on but you'd hope that's on a pretty basic wage...
Bytel? Byrne's? Clark?
I find it strange that we wouldn't have had a conversation around Clark being traded, but we are allowing the media to run with the fact that it's likely going to happen.
I'm not sure what we'd get out of that.
Well done on calling them though
Thought the young mids got an extension alreadyGreat work on the info.
Would argue none of our young mids will have warranted a huge pay rise by the end of next year but appreciate the narrative
On the Bowes thread they mentioned that the Suns want a late first back. So you'd think we'd have to split 9 in order to get him. It would have been awkward.
Knowing what we know.,how does Geelong fit it all in the salary cap?I hope so and I hope you're right
