They've already said they're happy to trade it for a player plus an early first rd pick. Gunning for us, but I will spew if we give up 9 and Clark.

Clark + 15 should be fine if they really want him, assuming we can get it off the Giants. Fingers crossed that's what Gags is doing, but I'm a nuffie.

I guess we'll see.

I suspect they take 2 and 3 to the draft though.

I'd be ropable if it's Clark + 9 for 3.

If we can't take 9 and 3 to the draft, there's no way I'd be happy to see Clark go. I really don't want to see him go anyway.

Rawlings was pretty categoric about how highly rated he thought of Clark and how much he wanted him.

I wouldn’t get too cosy with those picks if that’s the case.

I hope north don’t do that. Not that I don’t think Clark is good I just think the opportunity cost of losing a pick 3 is not something to take lightly. From norths supporters pov of course

if clark was fit enough to play a full game in the midfield and not look super sluggish cos he's gassed half the time, he would be worth pick 3 alone. As it stands, he's not worth a heap. Most of his currency is in his potential. His disposal, time in traffic and decision making is right up there, he's just not anywhere near fit enough. He's not that slow, but he looks it because he's always gassed imo. Maybe not I don't know, just seems that way

But the situation itself was still “live” in his opinion.

For him to openly say he’d reignite the conversation means there’s something in their new draft haul he thinks might get the job done.
That may be pick 3, or it may be ports 1st next year.

They would be trying to offer us ports pick and we are saying we want a first this year.

You probably think I’m bullshitting but I think TT has the most talent of anyone on our list and I’d hate to lose him. All due respect but I rate 3 better than 9 and I’d prefer TT to HC, again not saying I don’t like HC I personally just really like TT is back half of 2021 was great 2022 sucked for everyone, we’d be selling low

When Clark has a clear run. He is a best 18 player here and pretty much to a poster. Everyone thinks that highly of him.

Flip side, is that as a club and supporter base. We probably need a mini reset. Go back a step to go jump forward into contention.

Clark could facilitate that - full well knowing, he could blow up and fulfil his potential at North.
