He might not be an A or B grader, but 118 games and numerous finals appearances shows he can clearly play footy and as a free agent, there won't be many better options available who can fill that need.

I don't know why you guys aren't getting excited by all this tier 2 player speculation when the likes of Hopper and Taranto and Hill go to Tigers, Bruhn, Henry pick 7 and Bowes goes to Geelong, JHF goes to Port and Brisbane get pick 1 as a father son.

This two tiered system is ordained by the AFL. We are supposed to be the Washington Generals. But yeah entice us to renew our $1000's in membership to watch us come, at best maybe 8th?

I prefer him to some other options being bandied around, but would still prefer someone larger and heavier if possible.

In and of itself it’s not necessarily an indicator of talent.

Hard to play a hundred games by the age of 25 if you just can't play footy though.

He's no world beater, but in terms of depth that will cost us little he's a good option.

Only one that has really worked has been Wood. he finally got a run with no injuries and was not our worst performer over the season.
