Who do you think we would take at 3? Bit of a reach for McKenzie, who definitely won't last until 19.

Yep, something will fall our way at 10 if we stay there. It is a good spot to be. That has no relevance to trading Clark for 15 (16) though

Here is what PMBangers gave us last week. Order has changed a bit since then.

That pick gets you well out of that 2nd tier of players. Thats why I also wouldn't be looking at trading down and splitting our first

Their will be 2xchanges to the above at least.
Both SA teams won't be the above
Rankine and JHF.

I reckon the SA clubs would be made not to take philiipou with there first pick. Busslinger goes for west coast at 8. I reckon hawks might take Mackenzie or humphreys. Gonna be close if we get our boy

That doesn’t factor in any of the deals that need to take place.

Yes i said that the draft order has changed.

Not sure that will have a huge affect on who makes it all the way down to 15 though.

Can't see Phillipou getting that far even being from SA. He

No, as I said, the order has changed. And no doubt it will.change again.

Do you think the order of the draft will be the difference to the top ten prospects sliding to 15?

I'm not sure I do.

Wed have to get very lucky for a Phillipou type to slide that far

People slide and rise every year.

Johnson was going top 7 last year and went 21 to Freo.

It's funny how guys have gone from top 10 pick or nothing are happy to trade him for pick 15, which ends up 16

I think people just want to be involved in the excitement of trade week.

I don't see the point at all.

Agree there are high risk high reward players there but more often or not those guys are more risk than reward

I was happy to read Clark was buoyed by Hayes coming on board. A keen fit and firing Clark would offer us more than a late first imo
Just remember although the picks likely go up by one,the same players will be available,as Brisbane are obviously taking Ashcroft.

Jeez David noble is a breath of fresh air on tr.

He's not an alarmist or deliberate headline grabber. Just thoughtful and knowledgeable.

He's like the antithesis of Rendell and purple

Would love Noble at the Saints.

A darn good operator and a fine man. Highly respected.

Yes and no..by taking Ashcroft Brisbane jump past us in the 1st round queue. In an uncompromised draft, Saints get the 9th best player, now we get the 10th

So sir was the big slider. Still rare to get a gun outside the top 10 most years. Really gets to be a bit of a gamble.

Noble would be a good addition in a football manager or list manager type role which he has been successful at in the past, he's a smart operator.

He's probably seen as tarnished goods since he got sacked as North's coach but he got sold a s**t sandwich, anyone would've struggled with their team.

Replace Gallagher?

Jefferson could be another one available. I wouldnt mind him
I wonder if Melbourne would take him with Freo's pick. They haven't had a good young developing tall since Hogan.
Weideman hasn't worked out for them and Jefferson has a big scope for improvement

Out: Clark Long $$
In: two top 10s*, Haynes, Pick 15^, Pick 32#

* McKenzie, Humphrey, Phillipou
^ Hollands, Hotton, Keeler, Jefferson
# Hayes, Gruzewski, Long

Would absolutely take that.

Slid for good reasons too IMO. They often do

So basically we'd be trading Clark, who was apparently only worth a top 10 pick last week, in the hope the the players we like in the top ten slide to 16

Sounds like a risk to me. Prefer we keep him
