2002: N/A
2003: 575,000
2004: 490,000
Most recent highest ratings in Brisbane for a GF was 383,000 in 2020. Since 2001, the average GF ratings in Brisbane is 319,000 viewers. Hopefully if the game goes well tomorrow we can get close to those 2003 numbers. Also might be some strong regional numbers aswell.

Oh and then you throw kiss at night on top with full pyrotechnics and you get overseas viewers.

If you are like the NRL you want tv views so prime time. If TV ratings aren´t important day time.

From what I recall, the 2003 Grand Final regionals came back as 1,234,000, which is an AFL record. Unsure as to what the regionals for other Grand Finals have been.

They are the five seasons the Grand Final was not the largest crowd of the season.
Correct - well played. Except it looks like 2020 doesn't belong on the list. I'd assumed that one of the crowds in Perth during the H&A season was higher than the GF, but it turns out the highest H&A crowd was only around 27,000. I forgot how crap 2020 was.

2020 definitely belongs on the list. The biggest crowd was the EF between West Coast and Collingwood (32,865).
In fact, in every one of those years the biggest crowd was a Collingwood game.
