The gambling rules with the AFL are a joke , now any player or official can't even go into even a tipping competition . A great friend of mine is an assistant coach in the VFL and has had to pull out of our pubs tipping comp.

Don't ban the bump , but Pickett and McAdam should've got 4 or 5 as they just went for the player and the ball had nothing to do with it

No eyes for the ball (which is already downfield), leaves the ground and hits the opponent high.

But because Smith didn't have a HIA it's graded less than McAdam's hit, even though the GWS player was cleared and came back on.

I think this is easily the worst of the 3.
Protect the head. Yea right.

The entire grading system is floored. It's all about the result and not the action at all.
If Smith gets concussed, that very same incident gets a 4-5 week ban - as it should.
The system needs an urgent overhaul with what a player does becoming the focus rather than the result of it.
