Games at a stage where you could really just have one in the centre to throw it up and trott around until the next ball up then just let players dictate a stop. The more it's played the more it's slightly changed year on year, the more it just gets egregious the amount of guess work and in your face with the umpiring. That narrative needs to be purged with fire.

Here you have a quarter where Port start and here's big Charlie clunking and clean plays, let's just brute force this wave of momentum from Port v the Pies that just clinically worked it out, worked harder and exploited it. Brilliant quarter by the players really, and instead random umpiring interjections of "this doesn't feel right", it cheapens the match.

When the ball is at the far end the 4th ump is standing on his own in the other 50
