Mod notice after Mr Bob did a lot of annoying work in moving days of posts out of here. As we are heading into offseason, this thread is for 2023 list management only. Getting upset on previous trades can be taken to the vent thread. Lets keep this thread on track in the part of the year it's actually relevant

Must admit, before we signed him I just thought he was WAY overrated based on his ability to take marks up the line as the 3rd forward.

If I'd known he was a complete flog I wouldn't been even more aggressive in my disdain for the trade.

That was debunked, when Fagan was asked about it he said it was more that the coaches said they were not performing up to par, suggesting to them they should step down or they would be dropped. Some sort of a courtesy thing (which I still think is a bit weird but I suppose they didn't want to bruise senior players egos?)

Brad Hill did the same, and it makes me think that Henry is much more of a Brad than a Stephen. Much respect to Stephen Hill, what a legend.

Yeah, its essentially a free pick being made, Saints fans will hate to lose 13 but the bombers will want something out of the deal, if Saints can turn that into Henry while still pleasing the bombers with 21 then thats a win for them (especially as the AFL would apparently allow it)


Theres every chance the Saints were willing to let the 13 go to the bombers with something coming back but the AFL won't tick it off, so the next best option for both clubs is to get us involved. It would be great if the AFL is basically stepping in a forcing us to join the deal
