Good to see Brady is now just following the Pagan recruitment playbook these last 12 months.

1. If all else fails, just raid Fremantle.
Stuart Anderson for Winnie was certainly a winner... Peter Bell for naught better still; if only we could have kept it up for another 20 years

It’s time we finally use the PSD to walk a player like Henry there with a big price on his head
Yes totally agree time to get smart with players that may want to come to our club that may have problems in doing so.
Walk these players to the PSD and don’t give rats a:se what others think.

Nekminnit... Ben McKay wants to go to the same club from whom comes the same player that we just convinced to walk to the PSD. We ask that club to juice up their offer to McKay to assure us band 1 compensation. How do you think that request gets received?

The Swans have locked in a key part of their post-Buddy Franklin plans with Joel Amartey signing a three-year extension.
if hayden mclean is smart he'd look elsewhere, still out of contract, will be behind amartey and mcdonald, right now they are playing all 3 but dont think that would always be the case

No doubt what so ever Clarko will still be running the show behind the scenes at least having a major say at what will be happening in the future.
Good thing about not having Clarko around whether he’s calling the shots still or not is that we have been able to bring in more players thru to try out , including in different positions & for longer periods of time without the pressure of winning.
Having Wet Toast playing like they are is taking the heat off us a tad but I think the media would have also been all over Clarko too if he was still around … no doubt.
Having Ratten filling in puts him & us in a no pressure , don’t matter if we in or lose so much as long as we are competitive situation.
Which has been great for our development & confidence moving forward. We will benefit from these fruits no doubt in years to come 😊👍

I think this is wishful thinking at this stage.

We won’t be waiting forever, like Shaw etc the club is bigger than the individual.

Everything I have read, this is an extremely serious period of leave, he’s not just taking a back seat and pulling the strings from behind the scenes. He’s pulled the plug on football whilst he’s on leave, which is as per his initial statement.

If he’s not back for pre-season, I think the club has to (and will) move on…

If that’s the case, why not come back and run the show from the front. That’s what he is contracted to do.
Makes no sense to be away but still running the show
Because facing up to the media, the frustration of coaching on game day and the overall attention of being up front is probably pretty triggering for someone who is going through something like this.

I don't think that he's doing much but I think he would have a general direction.

all reports are he will be back this year coaching games
just when not if

Henry's gonna be a good player and I said something along those lines around R2 in the Kerridge thread. Not gonna give the idea any credence until something concrete comes to light though. Also very unsure why a bloke that young would willingly leave his home state for a team on the other side of the country. RHJ doesn't count, he just wanted the chance at AFL level. Henry already has that
It can be a simple thing of getting a game in a preferred position
Happened with Logue

Totally disagree but time will tell.
