I’ve said the same he just needs continuity

Not surprising that a top 3 pick has talent. He’s one we should be trying to get cheaply and hopefully again another bfnaak that finally comes over

Is spending a first rounder on a ruck a good idea at this phase of a rebuild?

Besides, Poorta and Carlton are killing it in clearances even though they have pretty substandard rucks.

Why not?
He’s out of contract in 12 months time. Deserves a big pay day. Freo aren’t going to have two ruckman on their list both on 800k a year.
He is likely pretty keen to actually play ruck. Jackson has made this position at Freo his now.
Perhaps Darcy would like more opportunity, more money & a move back home to Victoria…?!

I was informed the Essendon interview was a bust - not the Hawks.

He turned Hawthorn down last season - any idea why this year if that's the case?

I was surprised too as had heard the Hawks were keen. So I did some investigating and was told that he is just not as keen to get to the Hawks as us, the other team or GC. It will come down to the role and vision each club has for him, and where he sees himself best as the best fit for him and club going forward.

Athletic, 200cm, can pinch in the ruck but has form as a genuine forward in the VFL. He’d be my favourite on the market for the price, other than Riccardi.

Hence why I said next year, 100% will Corio Bay Retirement Village put a offer infront of him (wether he re-signs with Freo after is an interesting question,

Fullerton is just a new name, I don’t think he’s particularly good. CCJ is a better and comparable prospect.
