So are we rooting for a beginning of draft PP for North?

West Coast fans will probably want Hewett in the draft.

North probably end up trading JHF to Adelaide, so end up with Adelaide’s first round pick as well.

Yep.

Maybe.

I am growing more confident it will be North and WCE bottom 2.

My greatest fear is Luke Jackson to WCE for pick 2, giving Melbourne an early selection. Hoping this doesn’t eventuate.

There will be a revolt on the West Coast board if they trade for Jackson.

Josh Cooper is one of ours too I think.

Thanks Jas, do you know what type of player he is, also do you know anything about Hude? I have a vague recollection that he is a key forward:think:.
I really like the look of Cooper, kind of reminds me of Prior when he was drafted. A bit of a floating defender with a nice left foot kick, not sure on his size but I’d say he moves pretty well for his size.

My knowledge of players is exclusively from this forum, but I think it was mentioned earlier this week in this thread that Hude was a mid sized forward that kicked 5 goals in the QAFL seniors.

Standard doesn't look too good in the early stages, lots of scrubbed kicks and handballs. Brain has a hair style like Cody Weightman.

Big game today - hoping for Hawks win and Giants start slipping along with Adelaide in the coming rounds.

Bottom 4 could be North, West Coast, Giants and Adelaide.

We’re a very likely to have 2 top 20 players this year getting the points to match will be interesting

Two high end draftees + will have at least one high end player to trade in. Expensive off season ahead lol.

Just on yesterday’s and today’s games, there’s very little depth in Victoria, and not much in WA or SA either.

Missing two years of footy, has really impacted the development of the kids outside the top end talent.

This might be a much shorter draft than the previous two years.

No idea how many picks we’ll be taking to the draft, but if I was a list manager, I’d be keeping a senior list spot or rookie list spot available for the SSP.

Pre Christmas, get around to as many NAB league preseason training, talk to the coaches about which over agers appear to have taken a big leap forward, and after Christmas ask two or three if they want to come up to Brisbane and compete for a spot on the list.

Briz what do you see as our pick ups this year Ashcroft Fletcher perhaps a late pick in Bradshaw and White Jr as a Category B rookie

Have no idea.

Assume Ashcroft nominates us.

Fletcher probably a mid second round match. I don’t believe he’s a first round prospect, unless a team towards the end of first round pulls a fast one, to wipe us out of next year’s first round.

White jr. looks a certainty to be rookie listed. I’m not sure whether it will be Cat A or B. We’ll have to wait for delistings and rookie promotions to find out.

After that, I have no idea.

I don’t even know if we have any potential academy kids for next year.
