Cats are a 7/10 level team but with the competition as weak as it is that’s enough to win them flags.

The teams that can play better than them are mentally weak and fall apart come finals.

Any cats team from 2013-2020 would have destroyed the 2022-2024 cats. Yet they won nothing because they had to play actually good sides.

I don’t believe that at all, it’s the same argument Geelong (and other) fans said about the Hawthorn 2012-16 sides.

I've noticed this too. Makes me wonder what their 'training programme' involves. People always tell me though it's just an optical illusion caused by the hoops.

Correct. That's why you'll see most rugby sides play in hoops, to generate an impression, which is actually optical illusion, of the players being bigger across the torso. It's also why most soccer - and footy - teams play in stripes and not hoops, to make them look taller/leaner.
