I don’t believe that at all, it’s the same argument Geelong (and other) fans said about the Hawthorn 2012-16 sides.

The difference was our 2012-15 team would have at worst matched and really should win against any of the teams from 2007-2011.

We were a top team that was destroying other teams. This cats team isn’t getting close to a flag any time before 2022.
