He’s a game short … 16 is no go apparently

Then just pick Sicily, that second defender is hardly going to have had a typical AA season, this is why I'm advocating for Buckley to be picked don't think people realise just how good he's been for a Giants side, you can make the case he's been your best defender this season. Who else are you picking, Weitering isn't ahead of Andrews, you aren't picking two lockdown fullbacks, Blakey maybe he's not really a CHB though, Sicily maybe and wouldn't be shocked if they go that way.

I agree …. I would pick Buckley but he is a long way under the radar

I didn't have JHF in the team 5 weeks ago, but his end to the season has been massive.

Deserves a spot in the 22, even if it is on the bench.

My team is:
FB: Sinclair, J.McGovern , Houston
HB: Sheezel, Andrews, Holmes
C: Gulden, Bontempelli (C), D'Ambrosio
HF: Warner, Curnow, Heeney
FF: Moore, Hogan, J.Cameron
R: Gawn, Cripps (VC), Neale
Int: N.Daicos, Serong, Butters, JHF
Great team. I'd have Zorko or (more likely) Whitfield in over Sinclair. Maybe Blakey over Sheezel given Sydney finished on top and the backline looks a bit short.

D'Ambrosio v Merrett will be interesting. Warner and JHF likely fighting for the same spot, with Greene potentially to replace the unlucky one.

Many had fantastic seasons and will be unlucky to miss (Young, Treloar, Green, Xerri, Anderson, Waterman to name a few).

There are plenty of minor changes I could make to the side and be happy.

e.g. Put Blakey on the HBF, move Sheezel to the bench and drop Serong.

I did the selector on the AFL site and came up with

Sheezel-Andrews-Zorko
Houston-McGovern-Flanders
Neale-Cripps-N.Daicos
Serong-Hogan-Bontempelli
Moore-Curnow-Waterman
Xerri-Heeney-Butters
Young-Gulden-Merrett-Treloar
There were a few interesting players that weren't options, Cameron and Greene among them

I have no idea what i'm doing, this shits too hard.
I wanted to force J Cameron and Daniher in there too, but I couldn't find Jezza, and i think Curnow slightly edges out Daniher. Need more small forwards? idk there's like 10 players that i want in the squad but how do i fit them all?

Sorry, there is no way Curnow gets an All Australian selection.
From Carlton - Cripps is a certainty and that's it
Newman , curnow and McKay might make the initial list, and that's as far as it will go for them

Curnow was leading the Coleman pre injury basically he’ll be in the side somewhere probably as that pocket forward they seem to plonk the second key in the Coleman

Attempt at a squad:

Adelaide: N/A
Brisbane Lions: Andrews, Daniher, Neale, Zorko
Carlton: Cripps, Curnow, Weitering
Collingwood: J Daicos, N Daicos
Essendon: Merrett
Fremantle: Clark, Ryan, Serong
Geelong: Cameron, Holmes, Stengle
Gold Coast: Anderson, Collins, Flanders
Greater Western Sydney: Daniels, Green, Greene, Hogan, Whitfield
Hawthorn: D'Ambrosio, Moore, Sicily
Melbourne: Gawn
North Melbourne: Sheezel, Xerri
Port Adelaide: Butters, Horne-Francis, Houston
Richmond: N/A
St Kilda: Marshall, Sinclair
Sydney: Blakey, Gulden, Heeney, Warner
West Coast: McGovern, Waterman
Western Bulldogs: Bontempelli, Dale, Treloar

Its astonishing how much influence Daniel Hoyne has on their supporter base. You'd think Massimo was projecting as the next GAJ the way they talk about him
God damn. You never shut up. You’ve made an arsehat of yourself this season with your constant patronising and belittling of Hawthorn and their fans.

In the end, you’ve been proven wrong. You have egg on your face.

You’d think at this point of the season, you would show some humility. But you just keep trolling. You’re like a dog with a bone.

At least I don’t see any clownish Hawks fans posting on here with the user name: MassimoIsTheGOAT…

IN: Jason Horne-Francis, Zak Butters

These 2 have carried Port this season all the way to 2nd on the ladder

They both belong in the AA22

F*** the stats
F*** the player ratings
F*** the media & fan hype
F*** the sheeplike selections

Put ‘em in.

There is way too much early-season bias

Everyone seems to have locked in the best-performed players from the first 14-15 games and ignored the form over the past 8-9 rounds. That sucks… Every game counts.

The Hawks, for example, have been one the best teams from May/June/July/Aug and yet Dylan Moore is the ONLY player of ours that anyone is nominating for AA selection. He is a deadset lock anyway. Why aren’t there any other Hawks under consideration? Every other club in the top half of the ladder seems to have 3 or 4 guys being shown some love.

Moore, Newcombe, Sicily, Impey, Scrimshaw, Hardwick, D’Ambrosio, Day, Worpel and Meek have enjoyed fantastic seasons. Consistently good and making their teammates around them better. Doing all the one-percenters & pressure acts that teams need to win games of footy.

But then I see people nominating stat-whores like Whitfield and I realise it’s all about stats, ratings and flashy bullshit instead of substance. He had 42 disposals on the weekend and by my count, he had a hand in about 8 of the Bulldogs goals. Talk about OVERRATED!

Am I even watching the same game as some of you guys?

I wouldn’t have Whitfield anywhere near my AA team, but it seems like his coach Kingsley just has to publicly push his own players forward and everyone else falls into line. What a joke.

Zorko, Houston, Sinclair, Dale, Sheezel and Holmes all had better seasons than the overrated soft receiver/stat accumulator, Whitfield

Rayner and Darcy Cameron over Marshall are.....choices.

Don't think Brayshaw deserves to be there over a few others that missed out too.

There were Hawks posters saying Massimo is better than prime Isaac Smith, Hugh Mccluggage and Mitch Duncan... Yet you're calling me the arsehat 😂😂😂
