No disrespect, but I have barely responded to George.

I only see his posts when others respond to them. He can rail against my posting if he wants, but I don't see it and I'm not that interested in interacting with it.

He has every right to his views, but I'm personally not that interested and I'm more here to read the perspectives of others. His view of me is not that relevant to me.
And yet there is this:

George is the Mayor of Bedwetter City. Don't pick on him for living his truth.
That’s in relation to Amacca23 making a bullshit claim to try and criticise posters and me picking him up on it and then feigning ignorance.

And then this:
I'm shocked to see George being immediately negative. Shocked, I tell you
So for someone who doesn’t read my posts how can you make such a claim?

But you make so much of what you write about the person, not just the topic. You decide what you think is bullshit and you don't rest until that person concedes your point and you berate the person until you get your way. People can have their opinions, it doesn't make it bullshit and you don't have to put so much pressure on yourself to be the special internet police in charge of eliminating bullshit.

Once again unsurprising that you are trying to play the man not the ball but sure, I'll bite.

I contribute my opinions.

There that's it. I contribute my opinions. P.s - outside of mods and people who run games and events and whatever that's all anyone contributes.

I know some people will like some of my views and I know some people will disagree with them. That's great.
Sometimes I try to make jokes too. Some of them are incredibly funny. Some of them are incredibly lame. Some people will like them, some people won't.

I can't think of anything else I contribute. Hope this helps.
Missed your post injecting yourself into the discussion and calling me an attention seeker?

So you’re moving on from your opening bullshit claim?

Did you read all of my reply to Jenny?

I pick up on the overtly positive posters who criticise those of us that are critical about the club and who also have cracks at me. Have a read of my response to Mostyn just now and yet when I give it to him I’m the bad guy?

There are plenty of opinions on here I don’t respond to even if I disagree with them and that far outweighs my posts against those posters who I consider hypocritical sheep who try and shut down those of us critical of the club.

I have been reading on their boards, that both Clubs are contemplating splits, especially so North who are keen on a defender.

The only issue is that it potentially opens the door for Port, but Im not sure they will have enough quality picks to trade to get Pick 2 or 3.
Just makes so much sense for both to split their picks. North don't really need more mids, so they could add some serious quality to their forward line or defence.

Eagles are looking to bring in Baker so can get him plus another first rounder.

Challenge will be finding someone who is willing to trade up and who has the draft hand to do it.

Injuries have killed his career and guys have gone past him he needs plenty of game time b4 we should bring him back in good form if he can get back to that level similar to trent hentschel and john klug

History teaches us not to rush him back - he needs a good solid block of footy to get back some confidence

Interesting about Eagles and Kangaroos looking to both split their first round picks. Makes sense for them both to do that.

If that does happen, it increases the likelihood that Draper will be available for us at pick 4 as it removes the Eagles who have interest.
That depends very much on who the picks' new owners are targeting.

My views above I would imagine of these 9, i would expect 6-7 to leave end of 2025 with Milera, Crouch and ROB most likely to still be on the list in 2026. Will bookmark and compare notes in a years time

PS I wouldnt call Milera or Crouch deadwood. One was a highly drafted youngster who has been injury cruelled missing effectively 3 full years of footy from the last 5. Crouch previous AA and is still our best accumulator and improved game in the last year and a bit. Calling him deadwood/mediocre not reasonable.

ROB is the weakest link of these 3. Outstanding club man, and incredible durability and fitness (saving needing to play a second ruck). Leads competition for HO and HO to Advantage but has obvious limitations. Is he deadwood or mediocre? Again perhaps a little harsh with that label but the weakest of the 3 I would likely keep on for 2026

I also used the term 'mediocre experience' which describes Crouch and Milera. How Milera arrived there is irrelevant, but I agree the reasons, but he's there nonetheless. Crouch's role isn't a real role in a contending midfield. He wins plenty of the ball, as does our midfield generally, but we routinely get beaten for impact. Crouch is a key driver in why oppo midfields run through us so often.

I think Matt made some necessary tweaks to his game this season, it made him more of a "viable" option as such.

But I also think the targeting of Peatling shows we're likely to move away from him

If they could lure st kilda in for Houston, picks 7 & 8 might go their way if they threw in their F1 with Houston. Then trade up to 2 or 3 but that would be a hell of a price to pay for Draper

its injuries not form besides 2022 after coming back from 2 full years out when his form was only mediocre. 2023 form was very good IMO but acknowledge all these injuries may cumulatively mean his body gets worn down to not being able to replicate this form again.

Ideal bench player who can fill in most positions - hbf, wing, forward flank and even mid early on (not sure if he is still up to this) but exceptional time and space, the ability to get out of congestion almost competition best, excellent kick and decision making. Really like the lad and sad he hasnt been able to produce his best due to injuries. Before his rare heart condition in 2015 there was talk he was a top 3-5 draftee but never had a full run at things once he matured

Nank, Hinge, Max, Cumming is 4 without a genuine lock down player or 3 talls. Plus, half back should be used to blood players when opportunity arises. Persisting with Milera is another road to nowhere.

Apparently you are not able to do that woth 100% endorsing everything the club does.

But on your Milera comments, do you think he makes it back ? Hes had a lot of knees now.

He seems to becoming this generations Trent Hentschel (what could have been without injuries)

Milera is a genius when it comes to evading opponents in tight spaces. But he doesn't use his purported weapons. He doesn't break lines on foot and he doesn't open play with his kicking. His vision tends to be limited and he almost always selects short targets leading at him. He's really just a plodding fringe player.

You are in every thread chasing people around trying to get them to admit they are wrong about anything and everything. It was cute at first and then you realise how often you do it and it just becomes weird.

Here you are trying to get a 'gotcha' moment because someone lightheartedly dares to suggest they would change their opinion of someone based on who they play for....something human beings have done forever. It's in our instinct. Yet you want to try and be the cleverest person in the room constantly. And not even that, you chase and personally berate people.

Why can't you ever just let someone state a view unmolested?

It's a discussion forum, all of our posts are subject to counter argument. If you need to post without offering opportunity to respond, start a blog. This place is not one.

It shouldn't. If we recruited a mouthy little turd from an opponent they wouldn't cease to be a mouthy little turd. They'd just be our beloved mouthy little turd.
Jack Ginnivan being a very recent case in point.

The change in Collingwood fans attitudes towards him was quite funny.
