Fb: Madgen Borlase Edwards
Hb: Ryan Butts Smith
C: Jones Berry Dowling
HF: Taylor Burgess Gallagher
FF: Welsh Murray Cook
R: McAndrew Murphy Schoenberg

Drury, Atkinson, O’Leary and Boyle out there as well
Interesting they seem to be playing Murphy on the ball so far this season, that's where he played all his footy for the Northern Knights before playing small defender in the SANFL.

Murphy goal on the siren.

HT

AFC 7.5.47
WWT 3.7.25

Goals are Murphy 2, Murray, Smith, Drury, O’Leary, Cook

Best have been Schoenberg, Berry, Ryan, Borlase, Murphy

Standard been just ok. Defensive transition was poor at times that quarter.

Dowling and Welsh very quiet.

Game has been over officiated too, for both sides.

Umps are hopeless. Ryan took advantage for a goal only for him to have to take it again from further out. Naturally it fell short.

AFC 10.7.67
WWT 4.9.33

Goals: Murphy 2, Murray 2, Smith, Drury, Cook, O’Leary, Taylor, Schoenberg

Schoenberg, Berry, Ryan the standouts. Madgen and Atkinson been good too.

Better effort that quarter even if scoreboard doesn’t really reflect it. Couple goals were called back by hopeless umpiring.

McAndrew dominating?

What's his around the ground game like, marking, kicking etc?

Welsh looking likely?

"Schoenberg, Berry, Ryan the standouts."

A bit of depth there!

Ryan the one that really excites me. At this stage, if injuries etc were to occur, after Nank and before Milera, I would bring in Ryan to the A's.

Goals: Drury 3, Murphy 2, Murray 2, Smith, O’Leary, Cook, Taylor, Schoenberg, McAndrew, Edwards

Best were Schoenberg, Berry, Edwards, Ryan, Murphy, McAndrew, Drury.

No absolute standouts though Ryan was very good and Edwards had a huge last half including a goal from 55.

Welsh and Gallagher struggled. Borlase could’ve had a great day but spilt some easy marks.

Taylor kicked 1.3, another who could’ve had a good outing.

Any more info on Jones injury?

McAndrew got better as the game wore on. Won most taps but could’ve done a bit more with them, did one excellent tap to Berry in the centre though which led to a Murray goal. Took a few intercepts and kicked a nice goal too.

Welsh was invisible unfortunately.

I think Ryan and Edwards were the two to play either at or above their level today. The rest were either only solid or a bit under.

On the plus side, they’re two good names to see playing well. Ryan is playing more at an AFL intensity but they both showed a lot today.

Good to see. We've invested a bit into both.

Thanks as usual Bigman. Appreciate it!

Welsh is probably someone we will have to wait 2 years to see at AFL level. He might get the odd game next year but based on everything I hear he is just way behind.
