Very predictable top 3, Hedwards a bit stiff to not be top 10. How'd McCarthy do?
Not sure. Was a very quick scroll on the coverage half way through tally and then at rd 17 leaderboard. Didn’t even show the top 10 at the end.

They seemed to have a huge break for dinner and probably watching the end of the Dockers game so might’ve been going over time so bit rushed at the end

I followed it live, as I do every year, but could not hear a word - someone screwed up on the sound mixing, or whatever. Yes, no votes 18-23 was very surprizing.

Votes per game:

14.70 - Liam Baker (23 games)
14.11 - Jack Graham (18 games)
14.05 - Harley Reid (19 games)
12.43 - Rueben Ginbey (23 games)
11.48 - Liam Duggan (21 games)
11.45 - Brady Hough (22 games)
11.20 - Liam Ryan (20 games)
11.05 - Elijah Hewett (20 games)
11.05 - Ryan Maric (22 games)
10.48 - Jamie Cripps (21 games)

Graham cost himself a podium finish with his homophobic slur and given the way he was finishing the season, Harley could’ve won the B&F in his second season had he not done his ankle

For the record, McCarthy had 54 votes from his first 3 games

Allen averaged about 10 per game from his 12 games, as did Gov from his 6 games. Waterman averaged about 11 from his 8 games

Elijah Hewett probably the most surprising there? Probably indicates different expectations than other players given injury history

I'm surprised at Ginbey. I thought his sesaon was excellent. That's a fair gap between him and Baker. Good to see a close top 10 though.

Saw the result and was surprised by Ginbey so high up - but it seems expected in here.

What do you think Ginbey becomes in the next few years? I haven't seen much of him. Is the midfield experiment over? Is he a genuine key back or more a lockdown 3rd/small? He isn't tidy enough to be the main rebounder?

FYI, lions had Ginbey 4th on their draft board that year (Ashcroft, Wardlaw, Cadman I think, Ginbey Humphrey).

I had him ahead of Baker personally, but I might be on my Pat Malone there.

I thought Ginbey was our best player this year with Baker close behind

Not unexpected by eagles fans at all, he was very good

I expect he stays in defence as a KPD, hes got incredible speed, athleticism and strength to handle blokes 5-10cm taller than him, and also able to play on the really awkward to match up on shorter mobile KPFs.
Dunno what the club sees long term, but defence id say is likely.

Thought Harley's speech was a little underwhelming. Not much gushing on about the club and loyalty etc, like the others. Mentioned his signing on as a testament to his loyalty I suppose, but that was more about him. Did he even mention Mini? Maybe its just the way I perceived it...

What Stallon says!
He's tracking to be a backline gun next season and is often the main rebounder, quite clean. Has said he's happy to play back and is not quite ready for midfield yet. But with more experience would be a beast in the midfield in future.

Yeah hates the club. Probs requesting a trade to Hawthorn this year

He's not a good speaker. Not a lot going in upstairs. Hes a great footballer. Let's just be happy with that.
