Knew you'd love this news after saying we should have taken him instead of pissing away picks on Tholstrup.

I really am sick of the whole collect KPF's and hope one sticks approach, and im not sure throwing money at Morris is going to solve anything either. If anything it just shows we dont have the ability to attract the guys who could make a difference.

Ironic part is that we could have had both Tholstrup and Morris.

Instead our dipstick list manager thought he would rather give up 3 first rounders (Langford, Windsor, Tholstrup + 27 and 35) on a bloke who prioritises fighting and giving the bird.

south park beat a dead horse GIF

How is it beating a dead horse? It’s genuinely the first time our idiotic club has gone after Morris.

It’s not my fault our idiot list managers keep making idiotic decisions. If they didn’t decide to throw a huge contract at Morris I wouldn’t have any ammo.

You talk like everything is fact. Do you actually know anything for sure?

And the beating the dead horse thing is you constantly going on about how we traded up to have a swing at Reid and drafted Tholstrup. Give it a rest already.

It’s all tied into Logan Morris. Do you only want to talk about the half of the story that you like?

Fancy saying we don’t rate anyone outside the top 15 picks of the draft and then throwing away 2 x 2nd round picks only to turn around 2 years later to offer a bloke a couple mill when you could have originally picked him up for peanuts.

1. Lamb: “We don’t rate anyone outside first round”
2. Lamb: Trades 2nd rounder for Mcadam
3. Lamb: *Trades pick 14, 27 and 35 for pick 11
4. Club drafts Tholstrup at 13 (After academy), Brisbane takes Logan Morris at 31

2 years later

5. Dees look to secure Logan Morris on multi million dollar contract

You couldn’t make this shit up.
Tim Lamb should really be copping so much more heat than what he's copped imo. He probably should've been out the door a while ago. He's picked up so many scrubbers, yes for cheap, but how about backing in your recruiting team to pick up a player that can give us 10 years of service like a McVee. Nup, let's go with a Billings, he'll move the needle.

North had McKercher playing some weird forward/tagging/pressure role last night, thats not him at all but when you collect too many mids in the draft and FA like North have you end up having to shoehorn guys in. Just had a look over his stats and they are very low across the season so it would seem they have been using him weird all year. He is absolutely someone id try to get out of there.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tas have approached him. Could be weighing him down tbh because he's been quite ordinary this year. Bit like Dogga's last season for us. You could tell his mind wasn't completely on the job. I reckon McKercher could be the same. I'd gtfo out of North in a heartbeat.

Yeah good call on the Tassie, didnt think of that. I reckon he'd be one of their first priorities.

Him, Sanders, Nankervis, Alex Pearce, Leake, Chayce Jones to name a few.

Yeah he looks a complete shadow of himself from last year where he looked unreal.

I too think he may have his sights on Tassie, but that's still a few years away as well.

Would be pretty worried about a bloke who can't perform three years out from his potential move.

More likely a mix of second year blues and North being a mess.

Hes a pure mid for me, I (and others) compared him to Zach Merrett pre draft and North have played him anywhere but mid, in the backline and now the forward line. It's really weird.

I was a massive fan (as you know), but I think part of the reason that they've kept him out of the middle (besides their surplus of mids) is that he really doesn't seem to like the hard stuff. Have seen him shirk/pull out of a heap of contests this year – North fans have been all over it, too.

Wouldn't you have him as a pure outside player? He's got unreal pace and burst of speed. Not a great kick, but decent. They have LDU, Powell and Parker with O'Sullivan as well who are all bulls. Throw in Wardlaw as well. McKercher should be used on the outside. They have moved him around a fair bit to see where the best fit is. The problem is they have a truckload of mids and some are struggling to fill roles anywhere else other than pure mid. They might have a huge amount of talent on their list, but it's all in one area of the ground.

Yeah still a few years out. But surely they are in his ear. The talking might have ramped up. Tas will want several locked in asap so they know what their strategy will be and areas of need. He might have agreed to signing or in the process of weighing up leaving North. Can weigh on a young fella's mind potentially. Only a guess for his massive drop in form.

Could be Tassie but the most obvious thing is his role. He might still be too small for the midfield, he struggled in there last year. Was at his best at half back getting cheapies. Playing forward of centre this year is tough to be high volume. He goal last night showed his weapons in that part of the ground though, it was like Lewis Jetta back in the day nobody was catching him.

Would love Kerch, his face goes as red as Oliver’s when he is tired.

Give it 1/1000 chance of us being smart enough to go after him and have anything attractive enough for him to agree.

Hawthorn midfielder James Worpel will almost certainly join Geelong at the season’s end according to The Age’s Sam McClure.

This probably means - No Claz to Geelong, and no Worpel to us. It's McClure though so wouldn't be putting the house on the intel.

Sorry, he's coming home.
