Has DGB even performed that well?
Or are we blinded by the Pick 6 in a COVID draft hype?

Which players should Voss use as subs?Voss has never had the faintest idea of how to use the sub effectively
Hewett. Pace out of the game and he will go 100%, no matter.Which players should Voss use as subs?
I think Lord and Binns would go alright.
But everyone cracked the sads last year and said he didn’t know how to use the sub when Kennedy and Hewett were used as subs the last 2 years?Hewett. Pace out of the game and he will go 100%, no matter.
is that a good thing or bad thing. sounds badThis has Graham Wright written all over it

Agree, look at EPL soccer with substitutes, they take over the hard pressing, and breaking down defences due to fatigue. That translates in AFL to utilities like Cottrell who can run and run late through the lines, or play a role on someone, lock them down.Ridiculous decisions, sub should be a player who can provide run on the outside IMO.

Comparing Aussie rules to soccer is ridiculous. They are completely different athletes, required skill sets and tactics. It’s more using players that can impact a game, small forwards, mids, and runners imoAgree, look at EPL soccer with substitutes, they take over the hard pressing, and breaking down defences due to fatigue. Probably but I’m not everyone. But everyone cracked the sads last year and said he didn’t know how to use the sub when Kennedy and Hewett were used as subs the last 2 years?

True. But nowhere near as bad as Goodwin’s epic failure of Josh Schache as sub in the famous 23’ semi final![]()
Yeah, I don’t think so….Geez, TDK as sub last year has to be up there. The results from that will haunt us for a bit. It forced Kennedy out the door for a start.

A great article on Will White: https://archive.md/ArkuH
I particularly love this quote from our VFL Senior Assistant coach: “He was one of the first players on the team sheet. The way he plays is very similar to his personality. He’s full of energy. He has absolute A-plus ability to display repeat speed. He makes the transition into offence and the transition into defence very quickly and he can put pressure on with his closing speed and he finishes well. He’s developed clean hands too. He’s a really well-rounded player as a forward pushing up to a wing.’’
Hewett should NEVER be sub.Important cog in our midfield.

yes, simply hasn't/doesn't cut it as a key....Hasn't impressed me at all during pre season. I know we need a KPD but since Durdin got hurt again none of the others have stood up. Phillips has been "okay", McMahon is more a forward and worries me physically (gets pushed off ball easily) and DGB is more a Marchbank type IMO
Positive is Silvagni has been very very impressive in defence
It's a great thing IMOis that a good thing or bad thing. sounds bad
