• Trade will be very hard to facilitate
• Can sign short term and still leave after two years
• We have clearly created an environment where he can thrive
• Cousin gets another shot at it

Going:

• family clearly desperate for him to come home
• Friends at Port (but he also has strong connections at the Saints)
• Success at the Crows (but does he believe in the list we are building?)

I think the money offered by the three clubs would be very similar. Unless the family connection is so so strong surely the staying outweighs the going?

Smith had done an ACL, got busted doing coke and leaked a picture of his stiffy, all while being an egotistical flog.

Was also played out of position, which diminished his value, because his coach hated him.

Nas is the total opposite and a coach/clubs dream player in that he's an exceptional talent but doesn't draw any negative media.

Dogs got what they deserved.

Don’t recommend. Had a cheeky smoke last night and then found myself rewatching the Nas interview and trying to break down any hints and signs. Got a dose of Nas Paranoia. Had to put on some Black Sabbath to ease the pain.

If Nas goes I’ll be shattered but put yourself in his shoes, why would he stay? The money is the same whether he stays or goes, we’re not close to a premiership, Melbourne is colder compared to Adelaide, no family here. Home sweet home, I don’t think there’s anyone here if they are being honest could think of a reason why he should stay. He’s given his all for the club and his contract is ending so he doesn’t owe us anything. It sucks but that’s how it is.
