It’s now getting to the point where my missus is now invested and throwing around hypotheticals everyday. She’s adamant he’s staying, but I think she’s just saying that to talk me off a ledge.

Ben Long has suggested the charter "operator" - make of that what you will. This is some kind of a development, he may have played his last game in Saints colours sadly, if the fish are biting.

It’s no different to our best rolling Geelong and our worst losing to west coast.

The fact that our best IS good enough is a positive. You would assume that our worst improves with experience and more talent.

As of yesterday it wasn’t done.
But there is a new offer that went in sometime earlier in the week or possibly last weekend.
His parents being over can only be a good thing. They definitely wouldn’t be coming to waive goodbye to the fans. They want him home.

Mine went across the bloody country to Perth. And now my twin granddaughters are there
But he’s a big boy now - and he’ll be an hour away by plane.

To the point where he sees his sweet old auntie mavis and goes to give her a kiss and she says "yuck... gross!"... and turns her mobility scooter around. F*ck that guy.

Just sucked the life out of the season.

How 'bout that Alix Tauru fella huh? Gonna set the comp alight. Hugo Hugo Hugo.... come on in leaps and bounds.

Is anyone thinking about that though? No. Because of this stoopid soap opera.

I understood what you were saying. I was saying, and it's only my opinion, that they don't need the Nas re-signing news to get people to the game after that amazing game we had last week. It also would be exciting for it to be a surprise. However, I don't see it happening tomorrow, as Ben Williams will likely drag it out.
