McLennan, Boyd and Cordy the only ones I think that would be definite delistings. Boyd and Cordy both rookie listed so we'll need to make some tough calls at years end.

Steele and Marshall may want opportunities elsewhere. I think Jones is someone who we need to move on.

The coach loves Dow, I'm beginning to worry that Carroll's days are numbered which would be bloody unlucky for the kid. I really rate him and think he should be given another year but who leaves?

Nah last year he got 35 coaches votes which is a really solid number but not what an A grader gets.

Allows us to bring in TDK, Aleer, potentially tex wanganeen, and then 4 draftees. And would probably have to rookie Webster and dougal if they were happy to do that.

Aleer we have to trade for. That may involve a future second, or other combinations of picks.

TDK is a FA. So no pick required.



Overall our ins are likely to be less than last year.

kind of makes sense, why stuff around trying to get Marshall via trade and just go for TDK instead. Yeah we're offering (publicly at least) more money, but we know that doesn't seem to matter

Absolutely think this is possible. Said earlier in the week I had heard TDK had opened up discussions with Cats.

He wants to play with his brother apparently, things have soured at Blues and you can understand why he would not want to be seen coming to a new club on huge money at the same time our best player walks.

A lot has changed the last few months. Reckon this is a possibility personally. The rumour has come from a player manager who works with a client of mine.

Ironically, reckon he is more likely to come if NAS stays.

If NAZ leaves it is the clubs fault, I don't care what spin anyone puts on it. You lose the best player you have had for 20 years after all the talk about a changed environment, great coaching, a stable admin etc, it will all sound like BS.
Blame the manager, the go home palava, the fact will be the club is too weak to retain him.
And there will be consequences.

not that i ever watched it,aside from during the 10.30pm to 11pm dinner break on my night shift back in the day 2003-2007,remember some chick taking a bath in petals or something one night,all the boys eyes were up from their games of 500 that night

Quite a few are the last remnants of the 'messiah complex' fan base that has plagued the club throughout a significant part of it's history.

They have NFI on how to build and maintain success long term. Pissing and moaning is in their DNA.

I've respected a lot of what Steele has done and been asked to do while carrying niggles/injuries but he has always had a somewhat tenuous relationship with the coach. Sooked it up big time when when asked to adapt to the game style going forward. Would of respected it more if he had just honestly said I'm not doing to / don't believe it's best for me and quietly both parties arranged a trade.

The clubs denied his shoulder is an issue, Ross is being interviewed now but has said anything about it
