It was for the CJIt was a joke. I'm assuming nobody actually went to training for that reason...

I bet he wears the jumper to gamesLike fishing in a trout farm.
Painful supporter group as well. My brother is a Hawks supporter and he is insufferable.
I will say i was planning to head down to Moorabbin for training regardless as I've never been! Also got my newspaper signed so was worth it!

Honestly imagine if we lost him because we wouldn’t pay him after stockpiling cash for a superstar for years![]()
There has been no indication from the saints, the media, Nas’ management or internal sources that the hold up is due to the saints not willing to pay him. This is just a narrative for people to feel better about his decision not being made yet so they have someone/something to blame.Honestly imagine if we lost him because we wouldn’t pay him after stockpiling cash for a superstar for years![]()
exactly, it's all guessing, but people take it as gospel. but let's blame SOS and the club anyway....To be fair, he did say he was guessing.
The guys a moron if he thinks Port having a future first and a compromised 2027 pick can get anything done.Interesting comments from the Port list manager yesterday saying they could get the trade done with future picks.
Pretty open about something the list managers are usually quite coy about.
Not sure how to read that.
You're kidding right , its about winning games and playing bokes where it gives us the best chance to win , this childish outlook that if he is not staying don't play in in the guts is rubbish , take a look at the NRL , they say they are leaving at the start of the yearClub would have to believe that the are still in the race for Nas, as otherwise we would not still be going full throttle developing him as a mid.
In today's game Hall was barely used as at the Centre Ball Ups. Being just re-signed, if they thought Nas was going (and they may not still know either way), you would imagine it would be full steam ahead playing Hall there instead of Nas.
Nothing to do with being cursed ,its called stupidWould actually be devastating if he leaves.
And cement the fact that we are the most cursed sporting organisation in the history of world sport
The optimist in me thinks this is what they're desperately trying to tell Nas and that he hasn't made a commitment to them. The guys a moron if he thinks Port having a future first and a compromised 2027 pick can get anything done.
Wouldn't read too much into this comments since he doesnt seem to be realistic with his estimation.
I think there is a bit of a balance too though. You're kidding right , its about winning games and playing bokes where it gives us the best chance to win , this childish outlook that if he is not staying don't play in in the guts is rubbish , take a look at the NRL , they say they are leaving at the start of the year
Would like to actually hear the audio on this. Because the quote has him calling himself an optimist about not needing to trade ButtersThe guys a moron if he thinks Port having a future first and a compromised 2027 pick can get anything done.

Most times they do though , Cooper Cronk and a few other Melbourne storm boys have left , Maybe is a bit to do with the coach too and storm do have the bestI think there is a bit of a balance too though.
They dont always play guys that are leaving in the NRL (look at Parramatta with Dylan Brown) and for AFL we have TDK being watsed up forward.
FWIW i dont think Nas playing midfield minutes means anything at all to us or Port (or whoever).

I think its actually more a culture thing but also where the team is at.Most times they do though , Cooper Cronk and a few other Melbourne storm boys have left , Maybe is a bit to do with the coach too and storm do have the best
RTB, TDK, NWM, MSG.Let me guess he's seen Nas at the supermarket and bought some 2 minute noodles.
dont give Mowie more ammoAnyone else heard Steele to West Coast for Matt Owies?
Nah, me either, but fk me let's put this one out there so we can talk about SOS some more for the lolz
Chris Davies on ABC Sport.Would like to actually hear the audio on this. Because the quote has him calling himself an optimist about not needing to trade Butters
Well technically it is his fault. If he included Tom in every detail of the negotiations, he wouldn't have to guessexactly, it's all guessing, but people take it as gospel. but let's blame SOS and the club anyway....

Ahh this reminds me of the commentary of the game yesterday on kayo. How many times did Hawkins call Chito Mitch Owies?Anyone else heard Steele to West Coast for Matt Owies?

And don't get me started on LDA, LUD, and my particular favourite of the day, UDL.
