For a change of topic, I would love us to find a money ball half forward with speed and ball use. Similar to what gws have done with Toby Bedford.

Hill is struggling, Wilson isn’t fitting the role and we want Hall in the midfield. We are also crying out for connection inside 50.

Hall is probably the best in the AFL right now. If we rotate him and Steele between high HF and midfield we have a pretty nice set up. Said and Collard both potentially able to play that position and Henry was bought in for that role. Even potentially Carroll, he's quite quick and nimble.

Don't think we can bemoan Williams too much in all this. Managing a player in a contract year that has elevated to top five in the comp, he had to milk it.

Still think Nas stays as he will know that Port just can't pay anywhere near his value. As Hutchy said, they didn't plan for this.

I think part of it is Williams is relatively new to the space.

He wants a big signing for big coin so he can go to other potential clients "I got NWM a big deal at St Kilda/Port Adelaide/Adelaide and I can help there with you"

I think we offered him a year and told him he's likely playing VFL. Wanted two and let him look around. Delisted him to get him to where he wanted to go.

As someone who had been delisted previously, Membrey also has lifetime unrestricted free agency rights.

Was stated in the report that the Saints were interested in him in his draft year. If that is true or said to cover arses is unknown.
