This Nas contract thing for most of you is the start of the 4th qtr where we are 9 goals down against the Dees. I think by next week it will be ecstacy when that final siren blows.
Haven’t seen this level of stress since…

I thought Coop's two goals in that quarter was the inspiration

I'm talking about the vibe of being at the very bottom and then being suddenly at the peak within a quarter. I didn't mean literally with reference to Nas' performance in the game.

Tony's posts are only one aspect of many that convince me he is staying.
I love your optimism, I feel torn at times personally. Sometimes I feel like there are signs he is staying but then there are obvious signs he is going. It will hurt for sure if he goes but I know a player of his exceptional ilk won't leave without as fair a deal as possible. If Tim Kelly can net Geelong a decent haul when he is out of contract then so will Nas. Crows and Port would be working overtime to assess their options for that contingency. I hope you're right and I'm unnecessarily mulling over hypothetical outcomes. I believe anything can happen between now and the end of season.

If nas leaves. Which I think he will. I’m in favour of blowing up the list.

Maybe not blow up the list, but certainly don’t sign up TDK and Aleer.
Nas leaving puts us back a few years in the rebuild. TDK and Aleer are complimentary pieces. We need to lock in our core first.

After getting back from the game last night and reading this thread, I expected this interview to be a Robert Durst-type situation. He walks away, forgetting the microphone is still in his hand, muttering obscenities towards the club - "thank **** I'm leaving in a week" etc.

All I see is a kid who is uncomfortable with the media.

It was pre-game talk on triple m. Was listening on radio via phone on way to dad's place to watch the game. Unfortunately don't have the recording.

My read on the tenor of the conversation was: Joey knows (the co-hosts intimated it with their banter), he has been sworn to secrecy and he understands how much the fan base is suffering so he said it in a way that doesn't give the game away but the astute would catch on to.

But, anyways, I guess Nas blinked twice when he referred to "the club"...
Leigh montagna isn’t on fridays on triple m

I’d do it if NWM decides to go back to SA.

Load up totally on the draft. Let Dalrymple get to work. We’d have a draft hand close to Richmond’s last year with all of the draft picks coming in.

But if Nasiah re-signs with Saints then I wouldn’t do it. Keep the band together. Culture is also important.
Except this year’s draft, according to many, ain’t as strong as last year’s draft. So that’s a big gamble.

Did anyone one else hear this? Or is it another case of someone’s days seeing nas get a sandwich.
