That is the huge story.

I feel the TDK 1.8 million a year (If that’s the real amount) is going to hamstrung the list in a similar way to what it has done to Carlton. Hopefully reduce the offer to 1.3 without offending Connors management group.

On the other, hand hopefully the players understand it is the price they have to pav to play with Nas.

St.Kilda wanted him to stay longer but were waiting for him to see if he would extend longer but was hellbent on staying just the 2 years?

I get it. But I reckon a two year deal just papers over the cracks and doesn't show real commitment to the club. The speculation around him won't stop until the end of 2027. And then we're in the same spot as we are now all over again.

not necessarily. If the Club is still in a shit position and dwelling between 16th & 10th on the ladder in 2027 then i'd almost let Nas go myself.

The club also needs to show its an attractive proposition for him to stay.

I ran into a regular track watcher on Saturday and he said NAS was being announced as signing this week but you can't believe anything until it's announced
I've been speaking with all my St Kilda supporting mates and everyone is super excited. A great day for the club!
