Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

I’ve found it a little bemusing so many people on here pumping up Keeler as a forward/ruck option. Like.. what are y’all seein !? He’s one of the worst rucks I have ever seen! I’m a massive fan of the guy but let’s not piss on ourselves and claim it’s raining.

SDK and Geelong's first rounder would be acceptable compensation for Marshall, SDK is the sort of defender we could do with.

SDK could be another Ben McKay

Not worried about the ruck TDK,Keeler & Dodson just add 1 rookie Ruck great opportunity for Keeler to really shine & grow with Dodson learning his craft in the 2s.

Keeler could play the ruck/fwd role for us.

His pre season has to be massive.

I feel like people were watching a different Keeler to me. You know he doesn’t do those three fabulous things weekly, let alone halve a contest that much? Hey, I’m hopeful. He has incredible traits. But he was like a scarecrow for most of the year or has everyone deleted their posts? We were a man down when he was forward. And don’t give me the “yeah buts”, if he is asked to be a tall forward again then god almighty he better have improved his one on one. Very possible that TDK can’t play a chunk of games purely because people get injured! Gee I love the potential of Dodzilla, one of our best young prospects. But neither are ready for a full year of first ruck.

I'm still not really sold on Pou's future as a full time mid, I reckon he could still end up a forward-mid combo.



35 and 4, those are Nas type stats. He and Sullivan Robey bullying the under 18 comp... If we can find a way to get the 2 of them that would be delightful.

We will have to see on Robey, but personally confident that there is a huge gap between what Pou will be and what Greeves will be.

These are the only players on Geelong's list which intrigue me and which Geelong might possibly part with for a shot at Marshall and another possible flag before the impending clean out.

Ok done my work on the Marshall thread. So many deranged Blues and Bulldogs posters over there.
We have really upset them. Us calling the Bulldogs unserious as really upset a few of them
They are rabid. Funnily enough the only ones talking sense are Geelong supporters. The Dogs fans are so pissy, it is very funny.

We all know Carlton supporters are unhinged. Only the good folk know that the Dogs supporters are the worst of the lot. Spoilt, hand fed, umpire conspirators, toothless, and inbred.

Or he has pulled the trigger an hour after TDK was confirmed as a St Kilda player because he isn’t happy.

The timing cannot be a coincidence.

It will be fascinating to see how it all plays out.

Agree. Both of the announcements, when it was clear that Roma had a preference to leave and we were subtly pushing/Steele wasn’t against a move. My guess is the Cats discussions are at the point where - not agreed - but we know it’s close on Roma and Steele has a suitable suitor (arguably the return is less a factor).
