Zorko should get whatever he wants. Fair dinkum if the Lions try and pull a swifty he should tell them to go and get ****ed.
I only take Curnow if umps agree to give him just as many frees as nowA fit Oscar Allen and Charlie Curnow
hmmm... think I could live with that as our KPF's.

Wowee. Those Ch9 journos really going out on a limb. Newsbreakers! From 9 News Melbourne tonight:

There's talk that the Saints will have to trade a good player or 2 out to get in TDK/Aleer and pay NWM what he's worth.
Got absolutely no idea, a club that has won 1 Premiership in 151 years of existence is hard to get a handle on what the hell they are doing. How are the Saints struggling with their cap. Who are they paying on that list. It is full of C graders.

The issue is last week wasn't an outlier. Hoyn is right, and many here have been saying something similar for a couple of years now, we don't get up for "weak" teams.Agree 100%....not the point I was trying to make.
My post is about the comment from mpa16's post about hoping "Fages plays this back to the players."
Really, Fages doesn't need this guys comments right or wrong (100% right in this case) to confirm what he already understands as a problem last week.
The coaching staff would have certainly looked at those stats and drawn their own conclusions as to why/how this happened and what they believe their solution to it should be. That solution could be multiple things that you and I (& him) know nothing about but I am 100% sure he well & truly knows. Stats only tell some of the problems and those stats certainly show there is one with our forward entries last week.
Meh... we must have been doing something right. In the past couple of years we're 4 points short of being back-to-back premiers. The issue is last week wasn't an outlier. Hoyn is right, and many here have been saying something similar for a couple of years now, we don't get up for "weak" teams.

Sources have told The West Australian that there is an industry belief the Eagles have shown interest in the talented forward who is yet to re-sign beyond this season.
Hopefully it is and he re-signs with us soonManager working overtime ‘leaking’ these rumours
Soon, like tomorrow, so he can get his head back in the game come Friday!Hopefully it is and he re-signs with us soon
lmao at this same guy then making a football manager style trade proposal for geelong to get curnow - 3 guys on the brink of being delisted and a future first for curnow. How about this for a trade fantasy from Fox today, Charlie Curnow to the Lions > https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/de...s/news-story/8979e6ea27dce6f125cddfc675d5da08
Scott Gullan’s Brisbane offer
“I’m giving you a first-round pick this year and a future first rounder — two first rounders and Eric Hipwood. Done deal, sign now. (Hipwood is a) Premiership player, proven on the big stage.”
I dug through the list a few weeks back and the answer is no. IIRC Craig Bradley was the only other one who debuted after the age of 20 to do it, at 22.an unbelievable career, wonder if anyone has played 300 games debuting 23 or older
Manager working overtime ‘leaking’ these rumours
The only thing is Adelaide have already tabled an offer for him. From memory Cal's manager is Colin Young's former business partner. So rumours popping up about multiple other clubs unironically makes me feel better about our chances of re-signing him.

They've admitted it. So I don't think they're doing that for any other reason than they want him.
Depends what it is I suppose.
