So if Liam Jones played a certain amount of games in the Ressies, would he be able to play some senior footy if we copped a few injuries to our key defenders? I recall a few years back, the Lions were trying to get approval from HQ for Daniel Lloyd to be eligible to play in the seniors due to a spate of injuries. Would he need to be rookie listed?

Mid season draft he would be available if he plays enough games.

Have you seen the coverage of the NFL draft? Nuts what some nuts fans will do in the name of supporting a team.

I went to the draft that was on the Gold Coast. Pretty sure it was the Sam Mayes / Marco Paparone year. It was interesting, but overall not an event I wanted to hurry back to. Might have been because I went with weevil though...

So the Lions were “well advanced” in our discussions with Oscar when Mitchell met with him and triggered a Shitestorm and hung him out to dry…Fages and our recruitment people are so professional compared with Mitchell and his selfish “look at me”approach. Going forward why would any player meet with him face to face in the pre trade process?

• Copious alcohol
• Fans grouped in seating bays and encouraged to dress up
• Player managers and recruitment staff have to walk on elevated walkways between fan bench/table areas with music playing to access each teams room/area.
• More alcohol
• Hype music
• And big trade announcements made by proper announcers (ala GET READY TO RRRRRRUUUUMMMBBBLLLEEE)
