We will probably ask the question again at the end of 2026. Doubt Ridley would want to stay if the injuries to the team keep happening.Ridley injured again.
Dodged a bullet there I think.

Maybe, maybe not - is Ridley much different to the ongoing issues (ACL aside) to Kiddy? Can't really hold that against him when his medicos are from the Bombers.
They can't keep anyone on the ground.

Think Ridley has hit Bennell/Freeman/Cockatoo territory. Talent is there but the soft tissues just cant hold together
Actually, they have a new s&t coach. From West Coast. So is their list manager, one of their senior scouts, their vfl scout. And West Coast had a really good injury record (not) the last few seasons.Yes but also Essendon’s strength and conditioning / medical is cooked. So it’s hard to know the extent.
Not exactly the best place to poach staff in that field from ...Actually, they have a new s&t coach. From West Coast. So is their list manager, one of their senior scouts, their vfl scout. And West Coast had a really good injury record (not) the last few seasons.
I can't remember where I saw it, but I recall reading a story from someone who previously worked at Essendon in the fitness department. They said that their indoor oval they use for training is really hard underfoot which easily allows injuries to occurYes but also Essendon’s strength and conditioning / medical is cooked. when I saw this photo of Cal in a crows Guernsey I couldn't help but think, it doesn't suit him.

It surely must be about money. Moving to Adelaide because his auntie and uncle live there is really stretching the truth imo. And saying he is closer to Perth might be true in distance terms, but he would still have to fly there, and how many times a year would he be doing that? He seems to be very happy with his manager ‘Benny’ Williams and how he handled the situation,so that says a lot about Cal imo.But he supported Adelaide as a kid and Adelaide is closer to Perth so.....
Some jumpers just don't suit some people, unlike the Lions jumper which just happens to suit almost everyone. But he supported Adelaide as a kid and Adelaide is closer to Perth so.....
He does, but he will still have to play in the fruit loops.
No current season stats available

Of course it is about the money and the length of deal. There is no shame in that at all. I'd assume his partner is from South East Queensland so leaving her family to be closer to his Aunty and Uncle make little sense. It surely must be about money.
