Tony is never wrong.
I like it. Very much.Interesting that he's saying Ro will stay. I assume that means our intention is to play Ro and TDK together, assuming TDK is happening.
Has he been wrong?

You are such a clown. Go back to your core competency of crying about Higgins goal last yearI didn't realise you were so close to TDK to know his inner most thoughts. I didn't realise guys like Higgins and Jones came to Saints purely for money. I mean, the notion that he may actually like St Kilda because he barracked for them growing up must be so unrealistic.
It's 'laughable and hilarious' that your opinion is fact and you sit back in your virtual directors chair thinking you run the show.
I'll quote an article from Carlton FC in 2020, "he supported Carlton as a kid before his childhood hero Nick Riewoldt – whose number he would wear at Ikon Park - swung him to the team from Moorabbin". So connecting his probable move from Carlton to St Kilda with Rooey is possibly a long bow but an enjoyable story for an opinion based forum. Its not that hard to comprehend, despite it not being your opinion, it's clear your family tree didn't have enough branches.

I dint think he posts unless he is correct. Can't remember him being wrong on something so serious, if ever at all.Has he been wrong?
What about the system would you change here?
My suggestion would be allowing future draft picks more than 2 years in advance.
So we take, say, the Crows first round pick in 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028.
Currently they couldn't trade 2027 or 2028.
This would basically guarantee St Kilda a top pick for 4 years straight if we wanted it. We could package the Crows pick with ours each year for trades
Barrass is the better player. But neither provides Hawthorn with any run or quick ball movement from half back.Looks to me like they expected one and got both, now they’re picking their best players not the best team. Sooner rather than later someone is going to be very disappointed and playing at Box Hill.
This is a point I raised in this thread last week.If the AFL have any sense about them (longshot I know) then they should follow the NBA rules about future trades: You cannot trade 1st round picks in back to back drafts.
All it takes is one crazy list manager to come in and do that you suggest, trade 3-4 straight first round picks, and a club completely destroys its future.
Never!!!Has he been wrong?
And if he was planning on joining Adelaide he would never need to make the phone call.No it doesn't
It's been reported he said he wouldn't join Adelaide because Tex is racist. If that story isn't true, of course he'd want to clear that up with Tex.
It would be a nice change being used for a player staying with us rather than a player not joining us.This is legit laughable now. I still think Adelaide and Port are being used by his manager to pump us for more cash.
TDK will work his guts out every day if he ends up with us.TDK is only coming for money. Doesn't want to play for us the jumper, the club or the fans.
Jeez you're daft, I've wasted far too much of my day on you to respond properly to your dribble. On ya bike champ, you are embarrassing yourself with your assumptions and ignorance. You are such a clown. Go back to your core competency of crying about Higgins goal last year
Don't know what Higgins and Jones has to do with TDK, but you are ridiculous to believe they came because they were Saints supporters.
Here's an example Ben King. He and family a lifelong Saints supporter. Was coming home when his two years were up and told the Suns. He gets 150k x 4 more than he we could offer and stays at the Suns. So much for your child like reasons.
It's not my opinion we are offering 500k a year for 7 years more than Carlton.
It is only your opinion that we are a huge destination club and TDK would come because he loves the club over Carlton.
You think he moves for the same money Carlton can offer? Hand off it noddy.
Now back to that Higgins goal![]()
Can't answer why we have to pay 3.5 million more to get a player so resorts to infantile abuseJeez you're daft, I've wasted far too much of my day on you to respond properly to your dribble. On ya bike champ, you are embarrassing yourself with your assumptions and ignorance.

Weird that Nas called Tex if he isn’t still at least considering the move home.
Unless he’s a better man than me, I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t true and I had no intention of going there.
They mix in similar circles, anyone with a shred of decency in these circumstances would have cleared it up, if it wasn’t trueWeird that Nas called Tex if he isn’t still at least considering the move home.
Unless he’s a better man than me, I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t true and I had no intention of going there.
They still need a gun tall forward, and probably 1 more elite mid off being a real contender IMO.
99% of what has been said in the media is all piss and wind.
The way Nas has spoken, particularly when he got bailed up at the airport leads me to believe he's staying. He's made it really clear he's happy at the Saints, and wants to be part of building something special here. It's been a different way of phrasing things to the likes of whippy battle etc. I could be wrong... I don't have any magical inside knowledge fairy dust that I wish to state as fact. Just logic and reading what has been presented.
Of course he wants more money. At some stage though, it's time to bite the bullet.
There's only two things that worry me. 1. How embarrassing losses to the likes of West Coast shake his belief, and 2. He hates me.... which I've put down to the fact that my girlfriend is so hot and I own so many guitars.
I just don't think we can offer that much more money than Geelong and the Dogs for it to be a significant enough point of difference. Both teams, particularly Geelong offer a much more realistic chance at immediate success than us and he's got the childhood support connection to the Dogs. I'd love to have him but I think we'd be a distant third in line at best.
For clarity:
King will be touch and go for Round 1 (2026)
Phillipou will be right to go after the bye (8 weeks after)
Nas and Ro will stay (until the end of the season)
