Morris is definitely trying to sensationalise it with the language.

"Extraordinary lengths" when these types of meetings to arrange outside of the cap deals have been discussed by other Journo's has a standard part of negotiations once a player is reaching the money Nas will get.

Also calling Terry is his step-dad rather then his dad - which is what Nas only ever refers to him as - is an interesting language choice and suggests his 'source' isnt super close to the family. As a contrast, the few article on our website that refer to his family, Terry is always named as father. It's a minor detail but just an indication that he's not as close to the inside details of this as he is leading on.
