Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Liam Ryan is nothing like Max hall IMO just like Lance collard is nothing like hallWe need a Butler pressure forward replacement. It's not Liam Ryan. If he is a Max Hall type, we already have Hall and Liam Henry.
His management has recently relocated to Melbourne and have been trying to diversity their roster so its not just Perth based. There's zero chance of ryan leaving WA
I think he’s the type that wants posters of himself around the club. A large amount of ego inside a small brain cavity.I think he's the type that wants instant success. Not the organisation.

I’d be surprised if that’s trueOne of the journalists in their trade wraps mentioned that the Suns Coach is NOT a big wrap for Ben King. Would we be interested in getting him as a FA next year. He could be a defender against those forwards over 200cms or have a very tall forward line.
I got the impression that the Hawks were always going to draft him in the mid-year top up, but we beat them to it.Its wild to me that the Hawks missed Hall at Box Hill and Smitch seems to have missed him at Ranges even further back.
I know guys get overlooked all the time but hes such a hawks/smitch sort of player i cant believe they missed it
Reported $3mil over 4 years =He’s turning 24 not 21 and has played 20 games.
Guys who only play when you have a long injury list don’t usually come with his price tag. It’s the usual story everyone in front of him is team of the century material and he’s going to break out and be a superstar.
You know what you usually find in other people’s trash ?, yep trash. If we were talking a third rounder and 3 x $500k I wouldn’t bat an eyelid, knock yourselves out give him an opportunity. You’d be surprised who we might actually be able to get for a second rounder and near enough to $900k.
Just the money alone has to be bloody insulting to quite a few currently on our list and playing every week. Do you think we’re offering that sort of money to windy and hall ?.
I never said anything about him coming to us , i just asked why you think he is still up for trade ?Because he's just not that good. If that's the guy youre building a midfield around youre in for some serious strife
If the AFL pony up assistance for WCE I will puke. The first period of sustained struggle where they actually have to fight their way out of it and they've got their cap in hand. F*** off. Jaysus Christ the entitlement of that mob. One of the richest clubs in the comp. Members coming out their arse, their brand new home town stadium with a 99% pro them crowd half the season. Statistically proven benefit of umpiring significantly favouring them at home. F*** em. Let them learn what it's like to be shyte for an extended period and have to fight their way out of it. And if you want to give up two first rounders and two second rounders for Tim F******* Kelly then you've made your own bed.Said this month's back
Theyre not coming with a cup in hand... they've pulled up wheel barrow and are going to ask for it to be filled.
Thats my answer on why I think they could still trade him.I never said anything about him coming to us , i just asked why you think he is still up for trade ?
Need to sign Tex as a rookieI reckon we should bring home all the best Indigenous players from around the country, make it even harder for Nas to leave
Let them because 1 thing in sport is clear if you’re good enough you play.He has been stuck behind Sam Taylor Harry Himmelberg and Jack Buckley.
It’s hardly an indication he isn’t good. He has played 8 consecutive games in their absences + they want to retain him.
100% agreeIf the AFL pony up assistance for WCE I will puke. The first period of sustained struggle where they actually have to fight their way out of it and they've got their cap in hand. F*** off. I cannot understand why we are not lobbying to be part of the Dreamtime game next year? Why do Richmond and Essendon have a monopoly on this? We should definitely be considered for this game next year based purely on the proactive work we do and the nurturing of Indigenous talent.I reckon we should bring home all the best Indigenous players from around the country, make it even harder for Nas to leave
Maybe he doesn't like some of them lolI reckon we should bring home all the best Indigenous players from around the country, make it even harder for Nas to leave
Agree. The only reason Carlscum would be getting rid of Walsh is coz he's physically cooked. He's younger but Dan Hannebery says hi. And Ryan.....meh.....why?Ryan, yuck
Walsh, Ditto... he's not needed.
It goes with the chip on the shoulder culture of the WA clubs (especially WCE) and their media and fans. I lived in Perth for 11 years including the time when WCE were the only team in town and their fans and media were and still are totally unsufferable. Whatever tripe gets published in "The West Australian', they drink it up and it becomes their reality. The tyranny of distance makes them uber parochial. You can bet that their media are pushing their 'case' for assistance. In reality they should just suck it up, recognise how f****** lucky they are and get on with digging themselves out of their self created pit. And I hope they fail miserably. I heard McQualter say, "we're sick of losing". Good. Long may they suffer. Same boat as Carlton as far as I'm concerned. Suffer in your jocks.100% agree
This the club that posted a record profit in 2018 and 2019. Had 50m cash wasting away in the bank.
Then covid hits and when everyone was losing their jobs, they sent an email to supporters asking for donations to keep the club alive.
They are absolute scum when it comes to entitlement.
That is absolutely not how it works.Let them because 1 thing in sport is clear if you’re good enough you play.
Bloody SOS this is modus operandi, he screwed up at Carlton filling the place with the fish that John West rejects.
Most of the players who are picked up on the fringes go on to be decent at best. Maybe we’re encouraged by having actually picked up Steele in similar circumstances but imo he’s an exception. We actually have an outstanding record with rookie list and rejects but again it’s not the norm. Marshall, Wilkie, Sinclair, Wood, Hall is actually incredible and thank goodness where would we be without them. The problem is now we’ve forgotten all the duds we wasted picks and money on.
You want to chase Walsh, great knock your socks off. Because he was an outstanding junior went pick one, has lived up to his pick and if fit would be the best mid we’ve had in years. That’s how you jump up the ladder not dumpster diving.
Anyway sounds like Aleer will be a st Kilda and I’ll be cheering him on just don’t expect too much.
He had 9 straight games to show us, he is no where near it ATM but hopefully over summer he can add 1 or 2 kgs to that 60kg frameWhat’s your ideal scenario? Keep Collard?
Didn’t get a lot of it on the weekend pre-sub but a couple of very deft touches/knock ons. Just want to see him with some continuity
